Yeah I honestly think that's it's kind of good that it came and went tho keeps it gold cos if their were alot of shitty low level rappers trying to do the same style people in the 90s did, it would ruin it
Theres so many tunes like that. Funkdoobiest- dedicated, pete rock & cl- take you there, group home- suspended in time, just think of a few from hundreds... all got mad 90s vibes but not millions of views
I love this track but when he says "damn shit's changed since back in the days" i always think to myself, what the fuck u know bout back in the days you 16 years old lol

Last Chance, No Breaks is a classic mid 90s real hip hop album. It's crazy to think Jamal was only 15-16 years old when he was writing this stuff. Really wish he put out some more dope albums after this.
I fuckin love your channel man...Sub to it , anyway yeah Crazy dude had so much Knowledge , this is where you see dif between then nad now...Most of the kids nowadays are so dumb..
At that time Jamal was probably the most talented teenager in the rap game. I hope wherever he is now he's doing well. Slept on lyrical MC from the best era the 1990's. Peace from the UK.
i remember i was like 19 or 20 listening to this, such a good song and always forgot his name and the song name coz that theo nly 1 i kknow of him and finaly found it again.5 years later
I was 15 years old when this dropped. 1995 was a great year for Hip-Hop. Purple Tape, AZ Doe or Die, Smiff n Wessun, Keith Murray, Redman, Bush Babees, Dogg Pound, etc. Man, it was soooooo great.
This track holds a special place in my heart! I remember hearing this daily back in 2011 as a 9th grader, it kept me alive and concentrated dealing with health issues, family issues and growing up. Thank you Jamal, for keeping it real for us 😎🔥👊
95 i remember i graduated high school and i just got my license that summer was the illest and im 41 now hearing this song brong back a shitload of memories got me 😪😪😪 a lil bit i cant lie
I'm 26 and I feel like an old soul, my pops raised me on all of this and I grew up with it. It hits in a different spot now. Times move on but memories are always good. Keep riding out to this smoothness
The fact I just discovered this masterpiece yesterday, is beyond me , one thing I love bout some good nostalgia is that it make feel like you right up it in , feel like this came out yesterday typa feel, I wish artist today would dig a lil deep and start back making timeless music like this!
Hits different because I’m the same age as Jamal. I was 16 also in 95 when this came out…. One of the most slept on albums … Philly was on FIRE in 95 with CRIMINALLY slept on acts- shouts to Bahamadia, Da Youngstas, and Jamal that all dropped dope shit in 95- and im from DC. Philly was slept on as a city then.
Underrated! The beat is so hard and smooth. Jamal and Malik are legends in their own way. If they kept it going more consistently they would’ve been a house hold name
my undisputed number one joint of the 90's... it's just perfect, and it fully represents what we all love (an miss) about the best era hip hop has to offer
@@moomootheking5684 he was 16 on the outside, but 18 on the inside. 16 year olds now get babied to death, they always have a safety net to fall back on. These rappers were basically adults with how independent they were. Already left the nest
The songs its self makes u think like "wow, those days were the dopest times ever" These type of beats are the ones dat u will never get tired of. I love the 90s era. ❤❤real hip hop.
Above the crowds, above the clouds where the sounds are original Infinite skills create miracles Warrior spiritual, above the clouds Reigning down, holdin' it down
Now this is my favorite song i miss 90 hip hop music like this and the Erick Sermon production was on point classic reminisce I miss the real 90 hip hop music 💯💯💯
Ill never forget this time frame... We are so lucky an blessed to have had this Type of hip hop ... An altho hip hip has changed .. Grown.. Evolved.. We can never forget some of the greatest times in hip hop history such as this ... P.S. "A HIP HOP HEAD SINCE DAY ONE"
