Power = (force × distance) / time But, distance/time = velocity Power = force × velocity I.e p = fv f = ma P = mav a = v/t P = mv2/t P = (800 × 252)/20 = 25000 = 2.5×10^4
But if we multiply f=m*v/t, it should give us 800*25/20 which will give us 1000, then 1000*25/20 according to the formula you provided which suppose to give us option A
Please I'd really appreciate if you can write out the all pyramiters given to the second board where you solve the questions so that I won't have to go bk to the question often looking at what and what is given
Please the one that deal with the concave and convex mirror (number 37) is actually confusing....In my new school physics text book, it says that "if the inside surface of the spherical part is silvered and the outside is the reflecting part, the resulting mirror is a convex mirror" But you choose concave mirror (A) as the answer...I understand the focal length part
Thanks for writing in! Your explanation is correct as the polished side means the reflecting part. And the reflecting/polished side of a concave mirror is the inside part and outside is silver coated. Hope this helps!
In question 23 can’t we just say that P=workdone /time And since the car is moving we could relate the formula P=1/2MVsquared/time P=1/2x800x25x25/20. Which is equal to 12500 Making option A very correct
I don't quite understand question no.22. We only used potential energy. Does it mean that the ball had no kinetic energy at any point at all? Why did the Total Energy have to be P.E+P.E? I'd appreciate any kind of clarification on this.
At max height, kinetic energy is 0 since the body is at rest while potential energy is observed. At the lowest level, where height is 0, potential energy is 0 while kinetic energy is present. This implies that about hitting the ground, the potential energy (PE) gets converted to kinetic energy (KE). Hence, total energy is all kinetic energy at that point.
In as much as you think physics is hard, it is still a vital subject as long as you are a science student, you need to believe in yourself. All it needs is a total commitment and zeal to achieve your goal, if i can do it, then you can do it even much better. Hence, take your time and study these questions and ask questions if need be, the myschool team would be readily available to help you out.
Thanks for writing in! Firstly; tensile strain has no unit because its parameters cancel each other out. Then the options provided will not justify the conversions recommended. Again, thanks for your observation.

Thank you for writing in. The CBT mode of examinations presents different questions to different candidates at the same time. That's also why we have more than the normal number of questions, which is 40. JAMB draws questions from a pool of questions in their database. Hence the reason we emphasize that you should practice as many questions as possible.
This teaching is not that helpful The explanation is fast and confusing Please work on that And put the questions where is visible so that we can look at it while treating the answer
