Romans 4 4 What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found? 2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God. 3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. 4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. 5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Ephesians 2 : 8, 9. 8 For BY GRACE ARE YE SAVED THROUGH FAITH; and that NOT OF YOURSELVES: IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD: 9 NOT OF WORKS, LEST ANY MAN SHOULD BOAST. 1 John 1 : 8, 9, 10. 8 If we say that WE HAVE NO SIN, WE DECEIVE OURSELVES, and the TRUTH IS NOT IN US. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and HIS WORD IS NOT IN US. Isaiah 64 : 6 But WE ARE ALL as AN UNCLEAN THING, AND ALL OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS ARE AS FILTHY RAGS; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. DO NOT BE PART OF THE FALLING AWAY FROM THE FAITH & THE SIMPLICITY OF THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST, I HOPE THAT YOU DON'T THINK THAT YOU ARE BETTER THAN THE APOSTLE PAUL, ARE YOU????? Romans 7 : 18, 19, 20. 18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) DWELLETH NO GOOD THING: for to will IS PRESENT WITH ME; but how to perform that which IS good I FIND NOT. 19 For THE GOOD THAT I WOULD I DO NOT: but THE EVIL WHICH I WOULD NOT, that I DO. 20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I THAT DO IT, BUT SIN THAT DWELLETH IN ME. * I do not know if you have noticed in above Bible verses that Paul wrote about himself, that he is talking in THE PRESENT, NOT PAST TENSE as some people ERRONEOUSLY have deducted that "he was talking about the evil things/sinning he did in the past, but he did not sin anymore after finding Christ", the evaluating of Paul above verses, more than concludes AND SUPPORTS that he WAS talking about his HERE AND NOW RATHER THAN HIS PAST. There will be a lot of people going to hell because of the WRONG INTERPRETATION OF "repent of your sins" or TURNING AWAY FROM YOUR SINS, it means "WORKS", in the English language bible, the original greek word METANOIA found in the original language that the NT was written in (never in hebrew nor latin) has been given the WRONG interpretation, metanoia means CHANGE OF MIND, therefore, repent is NOT a physical action nor WORKS, repent IS to understand that you are a sinner destined to hell and must understand that whatever good works or deeds you do will ALWAYS BE LIKE DIRTY RAGS TO GOD, therefore, salvation is through FAITH ALONE in the finished work of Jesus at the cross, now, once you are saved, you will still be sinning, because it is in our nature, but the Holy Spirit in us, will reprimand and rebuke us, if we still continue to perpetrate the same sin, then, it is time for correction by our Heavenly Father here on earth, just like King David, though it was a man after God's own heart (loved by God), God punished him by taking away the life of his son and splitting his kingdom in 2, that was the consequence of his grave sin, but he never lost his salvation, or you think that God allowed for David's books of the OT to be written by an unsaved and condemned man? Ofcourse NOT, just be very careful on HOW you interpret the word repent, if you say turn away from your sins, it means stop sinning to achieve salvation, which is works, and, you would be calling God a liar, we don't want that, don't we? IF WE COULD LIVE WITHOUT SINNING (NO ONE IS ABLE TO, EVEN WITH OUR THOUGHTS WE SIN DAILY, OR A LOOK, THAT'S ALL IT TAKES), THEN, THE SACRIFICE OF JESUS AT THE CROSS WAS FOR NOTHING........ ONLY BY FAITH IN JESUS WORK AT THE CROSS, IS HOW WE ARE GIVEN THE FREE (NOTHING REQUIRED OF US) GIFT OF SALVATION, THE GOOD WORKS AND AVOIDING SIN IS FOR OUR BENEFIT HERE ON EARTH, BUT OUR SOULS ARE HEAVEN BOUND ONLY THROUGH FAITH IN JESUS........AND THAT IS THE SIMPLICITY OF THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST!!!!
