I believe James A. Garfield would be one of the great US Presidents if he was never assassinated.

The Garfield National Historic Site in Mentor, OH (near Cleveland) is excellent.

Lincoln was assassinated in 1865 and he died in the year when he was assassinated. If William Henry Harrison wasn't cursed at Tippecanoe then Lincoln was living more than 50. When I heard that Lincoln was assassinated it was picturized in my dreams.
