My favourite thing in this interview by far is that James greets one of the greatest supermodels in history with a nod and hello after shaking hands and hugging the other guests. Absolute legend
When you need a dose of quality British dry humor, Acaster is always a solid source. I’ve watched his entire Netflix series repeatedly just to laugh my butt off and improve my mood.
@@Endless.embrace Stand up specials on Netflix. There is also Sweet Home Ketteringa (& sequel) on RU-vid, and numerous other projects. Hypothetical is a series he co-hosts with Josh Widdecome, too
1999 wasn't just the best year in James Acaster's life, it was also one of the objectively better years of all time - if you lived in the west. Excellent year for games, movies and music.
What the F! I was just watching a video about what not to do in Japan and this popped us as new.... Now I am watching this and have no idea what not to do in Japan
He's right though about the lasagna. There is something about cooking it and then putting it in the fridge and waiting until it's cool or reheating it the next day that just makes it better . Don't ask me to explain it but it happens
James, you are phenomenal, talented, and beautiful to listen to. I love your dark, depressing side but please always remember to appreciate life. The world is messed up, but the weird lives we lead are amazing when compared with the nothing that could be the alternative. Forget glass half full. A glass with a drop in it is more than nothing. You have a home in Bilbao if you ever need a change of scenery.
Jonathan: Hey, girl, you're into music; was 2016 the best year for music? Girl: Well, i'm gonna be dropping a track with some dude who worked with Beyonce ???
I know this is a dumb idea - but if they ever rebooted Austin Powers, or did a continuation of that universe I would love to see James headline it. The thought of him as a government agent would be hilarious.
Nah its called polar neck because it looks like a bears flabby neck, you guys did a similar thing with the animal theme but likened it to a turtle instead because if you unroll it you can hide inside. The Russians call it the worm neck but that's a different story entirely.
@@caitlin329 Interesting! Are polo shirts in the UK also those t-shirts with a collar and buttons? I'm in the US, and I'd never heard "polo neck" before, but I would have guessed it's the neck of a polo shirt.
