Hehe I uploaded a tutorial for this song this morning, I had no idea you were doing it too on the same day!

Is is just me or does he do some different fingering stuff near the end of the video? I am noticing a quick double strum on the bass notes. Maybe i'm just crazy but it is seriously throwing off my understanding of the strum pattern when 5 seconds later I am seeing a different thing.

You really are a great teacher. Real beginner here. I'd say I've learned about 6 songs from you. I'm still struggling big time singing while strumming, but can definitely play songs, chords only, no fancy picking, and these songs are actually recognizable, so I'm making progress. Thanks for that! My wife and my first dance song was to Nancy Griffith's "Love at the five and dime". I know this is folk, but, it has some really interesting picking that I'm trying to figure out. I just plain love that song. That would be my request! If not, I'll give you another one that might be a bit off your play list but I just love it. Jack Johnson's Upside Down.

precise clear lesson, with your tutorial's i seem to be learning much more quicker than i have ever done, I used to struggle a lot on the strumming but have improved greatly even on that, thank you marty. Without sounding like stupid (ok maybe a little) :D Playing the guitar is aside from my family the most important and enjoyable thing i have so getting to a point where i make myself smile when i play is a big thing
