More than 10 years ago, as a teenager, I heard a piece of this song in the movie " It's a Boy Girl Thing". That’s how I heard James Blunt's music for the very first time. My English was bad and I didn’t have the Internet to find out who was singing the song. Fast forward a decade. My English has grown, and I finally discovered the singer behind that "awesome song from the movie," got married, built a new life in a different country, and tomorrow... tomorrow, a dream comes true. I'll be there, live, experiencing James Blunt's music in concert for the very first time.

When I was a kid in early teens, I didn't have the internet, so I couldn't listen to his songs (no RU-vid or free downloads) . I didn't eat at school for 5 weeks and saved every single cent of my allowance to buy his CD "back to bedlam". I have no regrets after 13-14 years. I got my heart broken so many times, but the music stayed with me. It's a a good feeling...

I had this album and All the lost souls. His music helped me through depression. It's been a decade since I listened to it, but I was reminded of this song the other day and it's still as good. ❤️

I've just listened to this amazing piece which has literally made my morning bright. I'm Italian and James Blunt is definitely one of my favourite British singers. I love his melodious voice and the wonderful lyrics. I call him a contemporary poet for the sweetness of the feelings and mood that his songs convey. Love from Italy!!❤️❤️❤️
Yeah, I've been a Musician, singer/songwriter for over 30 years and I agree with everyone else this is his finest song. The chord structure, the build up to the almost anthemic soulful chorus to the lilting vocals and perfect falsetto...It's a very very nice peice and I fell in love with it when I 1st heard it back in 2003....I can't STAND his other stuff though

Havent listened to this in many years. All the emotions I felt when I was younger and depressed came rushing in and I got the longest goosebumps ever when the chorus started. Im just glad Im still here and have gotten over all my childhood insecurities and trauma.
How can anyone not like James blunt!? I had the privilege of seeing him live a few years ago went to the show and wasn't expecting much but holy hell what an amazing show! All his songs are great I don't think he's ever done a bad song
