That was one of my favourite performances by James, it is so vulnerable and raw and that isn't easy to do in front of a whole crowd. He is so connected to the song and his emotions, its really beautiful and incredible.

the album version is incomparable with this live performance. this live version should be put in the legendary museum.

At one of his concerts I saw him wipe some tears during the performance of this song.The lyrics and the song already make you emotional let alone seeing him wipe his tears !! He's simply amazing.

It's really nice to read all the great comments about this song on here; and what it means to people. I think this was the first time James played 'If time is all I have' live. I wasn't at 1 Mayfair in London, but love this video clip - because you can tell it wasn't an act, or a commercial video; it was James simply singing his heart out. I don't know any other artist that can quite do that (or is as able) as James Blunt. I guess that's why so many of us can connect with his great songs!

Honestly, I am glad I listened to this song when I was unusually happy, because it is quite sad. I am not one to cry listening to songs generally, but I must admit I did cry. I think if I didn't watch it, if I just heard it, it wouldn't have made me quite so sad. But James' body language tore me up, it looked like he was crumbling inside, like it was tearing him apart to sing this. On a brighter note, his voice was a gorgeous as ever. I'm so very excited to hear all of the new CD.
