I was back in Belfast about 6 weeks ago from NY to see my Dad's headstone for the first time and while in the city centre heard John singing. This is by far one of the best covers I've ever heard. This has more emotion to me than when James sang it. Of course, there's not the same visuals but this just seems so pure. It's so simple. My mom also loves your voice so that's a plus. She was also a big James Blunt fan when he first started getting famous ikn America. God willing I will have my mom around for a very long time but this cover will always hold a special place in my heart.

Brilliant voice, man! All the notes are very clear, nothing was hidden, nothin was forced and you added a valuable personal tempo and note which made this song even better. I still hope to listen someday a cover for this song with an electric guitar and your voice could fit it. Maybe next time.

This is such a bitter sweet song. It is so beautiful. Have listened to you singing often and for me, even though I enjoy listening to everything you sing, I absolutely love hearing you singing this. The honesty of your emotions and passion makes me cry every time. You sing that song so beautifully. 💗✌️
March 8th 2023 and while I consider myself a BAD ASS, I ain't gonna lie, I miss my daddy SOOOOOO GOD DAMN MUCH, it'll be 3 years this August since you passed,so yea August ain't fun more. Videos, voicemail and pictures just make the tears fall harder. I simply just want my dad/BEST FRIEND BACK !!!😭
