I don't care what anyone says about james blunt this song makes me cry 0:56 - 4:22 (no bravery), its a very very touching, true and sincere song. His voice breaks when he's singing it, other times he sings it with anger, its a great song, and we would do better to remember he's seen it first hand before sitting here in comfort criticising.
The look on his face when he's in that building ,and he's thinking about those people that are no longer there .Just wanted to reach through the screen and hug him tight , and take all pain away for him ...bless his heart
This is the best advert for the army I've ever seen. To have the opportunity to make such a real difference to the lives of so many.. I'm incredibly tempted.
you sent me back to a special period of my life feeling the same thing I felt in war time. Thank you a thousand times for you continued support for Republic of Kosova. Your are a great sample
True artist, he singing without back vocals, even without any instrument, just his voice and guitar... I'm not fan some top fan of James Blunt, but I just love to hear him singing, and that's why I love him...
Mr. Blunt, thank you so much for all your help! This video really touched me and bring back memories. You and your fellow soldiers are our angels, God bless you all! @3.31 min, Profesor Bardhyl Qaushi ka qene dhe do mbetet gjithmone ne mendjen time, kurr se harroj kur isha ne provim tek ai, aqe shume me ka frymezuar te mesoj te Drejten Romake, kurr se harroj kur me dha doren dhe me uroj noten. Prehu i qete zoti Profesor dhe te gjithe ata qe dhan jeten per Kosove
What a wonderful man he is. So are all the soldiers fighting wars. The things they see will obviously stay with them forever. The Serbian massacre was horrendous. To see all those men and young boys buried in shallow graves, then exhume them and give them proper burials and they now have a memorial must be bittersweet for the families, also heartbreaking for the soldiers exhuming them. Such a cruel part of history. I only saw a part of it on the news when it happened and that was enough for me, I was in tears. To see it first hand must be horrendous.
I watched this when he first put it out. Now I'm sitting here drinking my morning coffee watching it in April of 2023. I, myself am a veteran as James is. However I served in the U.S. ARMY., back in 1991 in Desert Storm. He has the means to go back there and see where he served during wartime. He's a better man than I am. If you paid me to go to Kuwait, or Iraq. I would rip the ticket up in your face. I feel bad for most of the population in Iraq, especially the women. But the reason I wouldn't go back isn't probably what your thinking, I just wouldn't go because there is nothing to do. It is a gigantic Sandbox!! Nothing to do. James Blunt is a great human being. God love him.❤
I don't know if u Dear James Blunt really know how much we appreciate u as a person..all what u've done for us..our land..our country.. so Thank you thank you a lot FALEMINDERIT .. LOVE and respect from Kosovo
having been a soldier i can relate to James wanting to go back and see the difference ,if any, one makes.. ...not wanting to be ignorant..what happened to the displaced..all those empty houses seen from the helicopter
I love to read the discussions about the war, but I think, in war there is no good guy and bad guy, of course, there are people who do bad things, but they fight for what they believe in, and we fight for what we believe in, but in the end, there will only be spilled lives
..... I do not justify that, but that is the way it is. I am glad that I found someone from "other" side to talk to, and I think that we are both here because we both like James Blunt's music, so after all we maybe have some thing in common, and that is a start...
