There's a great doc on James called "Bayou Maharajah" that's available free on the web if you look around. He was considered by most to be the best piano player New Orleans ever produced, and that's saying something.
This is part of a one hour documentary, I have it on VHS, and there is a full version on youtube somewhere, This is any amazing small sample of his incredible talent. He plays effortlessly what other piano players would sell their soul to be able to do.
