James Brown was the man and the band was also incredibly tight top shelf godfather of to some of the dance music there when his songs came if you didn’t move there was something wrong with you that’s all there is to say!!!
It’s the wholesome that counts one does not exist without the other. I’ve heard that he was the mastermind behind every detail. He was extremely hard on his musicians and they respected him regardless. He was a genius he got them to play the sounds he heard in his head. They’re definitely great musicians but without his genius and vision who knows
Yes that band was amazing I would never take their talents away from thembut it without James unrelenting will to have them to be a unit and a powerful unit together.. true talent is knowing to put those parts together ..when separate separate.....Without James Brown u wouldn’t know they existed
