On The reason for the protesting isn’t in vain, it was to be able to serve justice to George Floyd’s death and at the same time giving our tributes to every other victim that has succumbed to the police’s abuse (those cases aren’t being ignored, there is just not enough proof and/or we usually can’t know who did it). Whatsoever, we did have proof with Floyd’s killing and even then, they would’ve only considered it as 3rd degree murder. Our voices were heard and the cop (Derek) and a few other of his teammates are now all charged with second degree murder. Yes, there has been a lot of property damage, no one can deny that. It just seems like there would’ve been less chance for them to listen to us if any of that didn’t happen. That’s just my opinion, but there’s also the fact that it took 50 states and many other parts of different countries to make it happen.

Just my take on the song, but The point of the song is that men shape the world, but women (mothers, sisters, daughters, wives) affect how the man changes the world. Mothers give birth to the man and (in most cases) has authority over how he grows up. Sisters give the man someone to talk and care for, and daughters give the man another person to protect, foster and love. Same goes for the wives I do not mean that women are simply objects without independent thought. Women can change the world. It's just that for a man, all these different types of woman give the man a reason to move on in life when all seems lost. When a man loses his job, he keeps himself together for his wife and kids. When (as a child) he has a problem, he confronts his mother about it. I know this isn't true for all people, but that's my interpretation of it. Critique it if you want, but at least we can all agree the music is damn good.

He also beat his third wife, Adrienne Rodriguez, and was arrested multiple times for it. He was arrested a total of four times between 1987 and 1995 for this and finally divorced in 1996.
