Well I suppose by today's standards this song could potentially be classed as sexist. It's a man's world let's not forget. However, if you see it from a feminist point of view and this would include a woman wildly in love with her Man, I maybe the only woman would interpret this song as wildly romantic and utterly thrilling. From an our day and age point of view but if my man sang this song to me I would feel wildly ecstatic that he loves me THIS MUCH. It depends on your perspective I should suppose.🙃🙃🙃
These lyrics are not right. "But it WOULDN'T be NOTHING without a Woman or a Girl" is a double negative which means in proper English, it would be EVERYTHING without a Woman or a Girl. The CORRECT lyric is "But it WOULD be nothing without a Woman or a Girl" But don't take my word for it, read the book, Please.
