Elvis guitarist james an John and drummer really stayed right with elvis movs an music. They were all puzzle pieces and they all fit. Perfect. Together. And that only happened. One time. And it was with elvis. An it never. Happened again. And it won't cuz it can't cause ain't no one as good as elvis an I'm sure there are a million and over who agree. With me. Hit thumbs up if u like what I said. TCB

so talented! Elvis had the best guitarist by him side! very emotional the end when James says that he miss Elvis, miss his music and starts playing love me tender... we miss him, too buddy!
How beautiful is that, what a heartfelt tribute about the greatest, from another great. My eyes teared up at the end when he played Love Me Tender. That song gets me every time😍😍😢
Amazing story. James Burton is a guitar heroes, hero. I wish there were more segments and articles. About him. Thank y'all for this one that we did get. TCB ⚡☮️❤️
James has got the most relaxing sound when he plays you can just close your eyes and just drift off it's just so relaxing and so comfortable so peaceful sounding he's one of the best he definitely doesn't get as much publicity as he should because he definitely is one of the best.
I was listening too Elvis on the juke box in 1955,and i kept saying too my self"who is this guy"?Well the next year his popularity exploded.HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
A very nice man he was so cool got to talk to him personally on the phone through a friend who new him . He was was friendly and generous . a Phone call I want forget .
Great music that James played with Elvis but his iconic guitar hooks with Rick Nelson and Merle Haggard were more memorable to me. He played the guitar "hooks' on a lot of hits. Momma Tried....Working Man's Blues...etc. The first was Susie Q by Dale Hawkins as a teenager. He made the Telecaster viable instead of a student grade guitar.
Ozzy Osbourne talked about using humor and crazy antics to cover up the fact that he felt inadequate and insecure. I wonder if Elvis felt the same way. Either way, I came to this video because James Burton is a great guitar player.
