Sometimes these things happen when you're in demand. But one has to commend Matt for having the integrity to complete his project completely and professionally, rather than chasing the coin. When things are right for you, the timing is always right.
The money taken by itself must sting but I think his career is loads more interesting because of the path he wound up taking. And he has plenty of money regardless.
@@GraemeONeil Hi!!! I hope you're having a good day!!! 🤗❣️😺💙💚 I was actually referring to the decision of the director to try to have him in Avatar franchise But you do raise a good point, that my comment could also be applied to the actor's decision to continue to bring up the point he turned down Avatar. For me the decision does seem artistic but the bringing up of it again, sounds like a philisophical paradox.
Matt Damon is a great actor but so is Sam Worthington but Sam had less big projects than Matt so I think it was better to give the opportunity to Sam. Matt Damon already has so much successful and classic movies.
Lol He said this movie is dominating the box office. It still has a long ways to go for that status. They barely earned back their budget so far. It's not touching Top Gun numbers anytime soon
"Avatar: The Way Of Water" made $134 million dollar. Second place at the box office earned $5.3 million. I'd say that's dominating the box office. Actually there's no other way to say it LOL. I didn't say it's dominating every other movie ever made. I didn't say it had made back its budget in 3 days. I said it dominated the box office this weekend. Don't put other words in my mouth.
