Another reason is time. By doing her side later they can cut out any pauses or unneeded words for a shorter interview. And finally expense. Cameras back then, broadcast cameras, cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. It’s insane. So two of them? Forget it. Especially when you consider all the other reasons listed.
