There was 0ver 40 years to codify Roe. I thought Obama would in 2008 when they had a filibuster proof number of votes. Trump has declined a national abortion ban. He prefers stares make their own guidelines. He stated that he wouldn’t sign a national ban even if it passed congress. He also stated that he would not block access to the abortion pill. Trump used to be a democrat so his stand is not surprising.

I feel each state should be responsible for things such as this. I also think abortion should not be used as a morning after pill. With all of the protections out there for people to use to keep from getting pregnant there should be no woop see daisy's . We have condoms/birth control and more out there. To me the only time it is okay to get an abortion is if the birth is killing the mother. The best and safest way to not get pregnant is to not have sex at all .
