I'm from northwest Indiana and my dad took me to see James Dean's grave a couple of times. You're bringing back some fun memories for me of my dad. My dad looked like a red-headed James Dean, dimples and all. Thank you for this video and all you and Trey do!

That's only about an hour from my house.Thank you for doing this vidio.My mom loved James Dean.She grew up in Kokomo in the 1930s and 40s so before I was born she knew of him and probably watched his movies when they came out.

You and I are about the same age. I've been a fan of Elvis all my life. I have loved all your videos. Wouldn't say I'm a huge fan of James Dean, but this may be my favorite video you have done! From the video of the funeral home, the then and now cemetery. Which I love seeing before and after pictures. Meeting his first cousin. And he was exactly how you would hope he would be. Fairmount is beyond charming. I absolutely melted seeing his home, made all the more beautiful against the sunset sky. I've never had the pleasure to see it in person, but it already feels like home. I can easily imagine spending holidays there or even just casual nights. The smell of freshly baked goods cooling in the kitchen, the wonderful crisp Fall and Winter breezes. Cannot begin to express how happy I am that you and Trey had this experience and that you got to connect with one of James' relatives. I am so elated that after all these years it's still in the family. If I'm wrong then please feel free to correct me, but about 15yrs ago I vaguely recall something about James leaving his handprints in cement in a garage or at some home he had. I always thought it was this one, because my fuzzy memory places it at a white house and the prints are against a wall. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Thank you Spa Guy and Trey for this great video . We lived in a town Up State New York ,on my way to work I would pass everyday a big beautiful farm with a big barn and on the side of the barn there is a very large painting of James Dean and Elvis and I always would wonder why James Dean. Well! By You filming the farm where J.D. lived in I guess it explains why a farm would have the painting of James Dean. Obviously, He is associated with a farm being that he grew up in one. Furthermore, so many times we see something odd that we don’t know why. However,by watching your videos Spa Guy we find answers to our questions. Thank you! Arrivederci!

Great video! You guys did however miss something on the cement block on the ground near the barn door. When Jimmy was 13, he marked his hand print, foot print and signature on the cement before it had dried.

My Family Grew up in Fairmount, some of my Uncles went to School with James Dean, my Dad and some of his Friends bailed hay on his uncles Farm.... My Grandparents lived there most of there life.... When you went to the Graveyard you were very close to my little brothers grave....

i live just a few miles from where James was killed on Highway 41 in Cholame, Ca. There is always a lot of people there visiting his memorial.

Used to go inside that school when I was a kid and mess around. If I remember correctly we used to have a haunted house in there every year. We call Fairmount, Fairtucky.

Jim Davis ( Garfield) is from here also. I use to play basketball in the gym of his high school and we use to do a haunted house inside. Too bad they let it run down like it did.

Omg thank you for showing what they did for jimmy’s stage! I didn’t know they actually did that! Can’t wait to go there! I appreciate your video so so so so much! I live near James deans garage apartment in Hollywood hills and I went there last night to say hello and speed around in my convertible around his favorite places. James was so ahead of his time. And truly treated people like Jesus Christ would… he befriended the friendless.. and loved the unlovable. This part of his “toxic macho American male” image isn’t discussed enough. He hated.. so much of what fairmont stood for.. this is lost too…

By tearing the building down.. it’s surely saved someone’s life.. as it want safe and people went into it abandoned. Would have taken at least 50 million too repair it. Surely that money would benefit something else jimmy had passion for like equality for Jewish people.. African Americans.. and the community he was apart of the gay community.
