I read somewhere that Randal Park (Jimmy’s actor) actually got a magician to teach him the trick for the episode. I have immense respect that the guy learned the trick instead of having them CGI it in.

...it's a back palm. it's on the easier end of sleight of hand, but randall park definitely put the work in to learn it and make it look good. as an asian-american and a magician, i'm proud of him. but CGI isn't the easy way out. however you wanna cut it, the cost of CGI'ing it would far outweigh just learning it.

Strange is a sorcerer/wizard, he uses spells and tools to get acces to magic (it’s actually science) Wanda is a witch, she actually use real magic. Jimmy and Scott are „magicians“ they use tricks, Technology. So very different things actually.

Love how subtle it is too. They don't mention it or do a close up of it in the show, it just happens. If you know the reference, it adds to it. If not, it's nothing

I love it because the MCU makes you pay attention to even the smaller things because you never know when they will reference something or if it will pay off later and I love things that connect later down the line or gets reference later in a different film or show it makes it that much more real.
