The legendary stage and screen actor, known for his roles in dozens of films over a career spanning six decades, has passed away at age 93.
James Earl Jones, celebrated for his iconic voice roles, was the voice of Darth Vader in "Star Wars" (1977), "The Empire Strikes Back" (1980), and "Return of the Jedi" (1983), among other films in the Star Wars saga. He also brought life to Mufasa in "The Lion King." His other notable film appearances include "The Great White Hope" (1970), "Conan the Barbarian" (1982), "Coming to America" (1988), "Field of Dreams" (1989), and "Clear and Present Danger" (1994). He was honored with an Honorary Academy Award in 2011.
