The Four Battle For Stardom is an American reality TV show that started in January 2018. It is a singing contest open for all genre of music. There is the starting four singers who are then challenged by new aspiring singers or challenger for the seat. There is the performance round or audition round and judges decide if the musician advances to challenge one of the four. Then the challenger chooses who to battle with in a sing off. The studio audience votes to decide the winner. The last musician who remains with a seat after sing offs becomes the champion.

I feel like in my own opinion I love James from day one some people may not want James. But look where James at now on TV the four showing his voice. I'm not saying Ronnie can't sing but James has more experience an he is a great Natural voice. He's not even trying it comes naturally that's is what a true performer do.

Fire time seeing this battle but Ronnie was very clean and smooth with his song, he gave me chills honestly. Especially when hit that high note. He sounded just like Mario lol.

No he doesn’t, that’s a comment of a person you can’t analyze a voice by the texture of it, control, range… did Ronnie give better falsettos/head voice in this? Maybe, James can easily go higher with better control as you can see on other songs, but the song he chose it’s not about that. Do you think Ronnie could do those lower and stronger notes James did? Never… Even in the lower part of Let me Love You, Ronnie wasn’t solid enogh!

@@tiagomoreira2929 Perhaps you're right. No doubt James was a better vocalist, but a performance is more than just technicality. It's stage presence, expression, and an agglomeration of other components. Ronnie definitely sounded more believable, utilized the stage and didn't stay in a box, engaged with the crowd, and put more passion into it. Overall, I feel like he gave a better performance.

Didn’t watch the show but I came across this video and I must say Ronnie definitely won this one and was robbed. I’ve seen through the comments a lot of people applauded for the other guy because of previous songs. But I’m judging soulfully off of this battle and hands down, Ronnie won..

I truly believe this show wasn't going for music & vocal talent, but more so for looks & appearance. They wanted someone who would gain fans by selling looks rather than musical talent. That's probably why it didn't last pass two seasons. Ronnie's voice is super beautiful. BTW, I wonder what the show's contestants are doing now?

@@torihampton6807 And James was any better? He was struggling badly with the lower register on the opening of the song and fell off note on his climax at the end. Ronnie wasn’t flat, he was on key throughout, when someone is flat it means to be below the note on pitch. Ronnie’s voice in particular holds a lot of vibrato and sounded shakey at times... but he held his own and was much better than James.

I am sorry james won this wooooh that voice and the high note. Man he sang from heart and touch every emotion. Ronnie is good but it’s more than just the voice alone Ronnie can sing but. He did not come eat I saw more passion from James it just seemed so pure.

Ronnie won this. Just good, great control, great vibrato, great choices that differentiate it from the one by Mario. James on the other hand, it's like we as a society just lower the bar for white men. James was so pitchy, couldn't find the right key, couldn't do anything great with a song covered by so many people so often. Tbh I don't think I've ever heard a version this pitchy by a professional singer or rando doing karaoke even.

I love James! He picked a bad song this week but I still like him. I want him to do a George Michael song, like careless whispers. Ronnie is very talented. He needs to get some coaching and come back. He is sooooo sweet ❤️ he just challenged the wrong person.
