I swear to god that the media is out to Rig the MVP vote against Harden every year. So first of all they give the MVP to Steph over Harden in 2015 despite Harden having much better stats, and their reasoning is "Steph is winning more games." But then fast forward 2 years in the future, now you have media IDIOTS like Chris Broussard saying "well Russ is putting up better stats so he should win" despite Harden having almost 10 more wins then Westbrook. So what is the damn criteria media?!?!? Is it how many games you win? Is it putting up the best stats? or maybe I'm getting it wrong and the criteria is actually "don't be a bearded man that plays in Houston that has a first name of James and last name of Harden" because that honestly wouldn't surprise me at this point, smh

harden's team is "performing better"? well then, steph's team is "performing better" than his apparently.. you have to be more thorough than that.. the fact of the matter is, at some point its down to the individuals, where russ is destroying harden.. makes much more difficult plays, more efficient, better PER... please refute me if I am wrong..

Most disrespected NBA superstar in the league. Carried the Rockets to a playoff spot in 2015 pretty much singlehandedly, while averaging 27 ppg, 7 apg and 6 rpg, snubbed for MVP. Then in 2016, he averaged 29 ppg, 7 apg and 6 rpg, snubbed from every single All-NBA team. This year, averages 29ppg, 11 apg, 8 rpg, leading the league in assists and breaking the record for total points created in the season, taking a projected 40-win team to the 3rd seed, and he's about to get snubbed for MVP. No matter how much he elevates his performance, the media will always take the other side. I just hope he goes on a revenge tour during the playoffs and proves everyone wrong.

He literally was handed the point guard position this year and was the best at it. Harden is a very willing and amazing passer. They talk about how harden has better pieces around him, but those 3 point shooters aren't creating their own shot. Harden has learned to play a pass first sort of style while still keeping the defense on their heels. Russel may be doing a little more for his team, but so was Harden when Curry won a couple seasons ago. The only thing I'd like to see harden do is clean up the splotchy laziness. There's usually a moment in almost every game where he gets a little lazy with his passing and winds up picking up like 3 turnovers in a row. (As someone who watches every rockets game; he plays defense when you would want or expect, but the laziness can cost him)

Jermaine Fosu cp3 is still one of the best at his position. Dude still averaged less than 3 turnovers to damn near 10 assist. No point guard in the league can score 20 and drop 20 dimes without committing a turnover.

To me Westbrook's passes are harder than harden's passes....harden gets lots of assists by flare screens for 3s, and alley oops to Capella. Russ has to always attack the pick and roll, pick and pop, and pick slip and create options through this penetration which is a lot harder to do. OKC just doesn't have the snipers that Houston has. That being said, Harden's 11 assists a game are still insane but personally, the assists from westbrook are more impressive especially how he maintains the lower turnover number.

Harden's assist is really comes from their system/playbook unlike others they pass because shotblock is running out and ends in contested shot.

Harden has one of the most stacked and talented teams ever. Harden leading the Rockets to the 3rd seed isn't impressive at all because the Rockets without Harden would still be a top 5 team in the NBA. Russell Westbrook has the worst team ever. No NBA Superstar has ever had a worse supporter cast than Russell Westbrook. He has to average a triple double because his team is so trash, he has to do everything for them. That's why Westbrook is the TRUE MVP and he is the BEST NBA player by far. Harden has one of the best and most stacked team in the NBA but his team is still in 3rd seed. Westbrook is playing with D-League level players and his team is only 2 spots behind the Rockets. So basically Westbrook is playing 1 on 5 every night and he still be winning games. Put Westbrook on the Rockets right now and they would easily have the best record in the NBA and he would definitely win at least 2-3 Championships in a row. Put Harden on the Thunders right now and they would be 13-14th seed in the West

Royal Ace Anthony Davis had Ryno and Gordon on his team last season and they missed the playoffs and were 18 games behind .500 now they're in Houston and having career years, Lou Williams came from the Lakers and the Lakers suck but he was their leading scorer because everybody else on that team was terrible. I'll do one better, in 2012 when OKC had their little trio and before Harden became the great player he is now OKC went to the NBA Finals. After James got traded to Houston, Durant (Although I will admit him and GSW are capable of it this year) and Westbrook haven't been back to an NBA Finals since meanwhile the Rockets have racked up 14 playoff victories and even their first birth in the Conference Finals since 1997. It's not that Harden has better teammates, it's that he makes them play at their fullest potential and it turns into success for the team. By the way, be honest people like you wrote Harden and the Rockets off after that disaster of a season last year and the departure of Dwight Howard while you expected OKC to continue their success even without KD, guess what the Rockets are top 3 in the NBA and OKC's not top 5 in the west anymore.
