He may not be the best singer, but nobody on earth puts more of their soul in their music than James does. This man has performed in front of millions of people for 35 years, has seen and done it ALL, and look at how his hands shake from nervousness during "Nothing." That, at least to me, speaks of how important this cause is to him and how much pressure he puts on himself not to let anyone down. Words cannot describe how much respect and admiration I have. A true role model (well these days anyway lol)

Seing James come out so modest and "it's just me" as the crowd is losing control is amazing. See his agressive performances from '89 and you will understand what I mean. James has been well documented to have been a shy, very quiet person and I think some of that shows here as he is without his band. Amazing performance none the less.

My favorite music dude for sure. James has really been an inspiration for a great portion of my life. Growing up with Metallica in the 80's, they really changed my life. Their sound, voice, lyrics, everything about them. Everything! They just stood out to me. I remember listening to Ride the Lightening one time at the age of 12-13 thinking, even with my limited experience with music that he and they were going to something no other band had done before. James was always there to show the way so to speak. His energy has touched so many millions of people and especially me. Even through the 90's. Which I just recently really started checking out. Hail The Mighty Hetfield!

Shit man, the Mighty Hetfield. That picking hand usually crushes through fast and heavy riffs, yet strumming these melodical acoustic songs. Pretty cool!

I love how a fucking metal Legend like The HET himself just casualy walks up the stage and is like " hey guys, how you doin". Hes so true and on the ground. You dont get this with the modern mainstream musicans. They all think they are untouchable. But who will remember them in 10-20 Years? You think Adele will fill stadiums with 100.000+ People singing along "Hello" in 20 years? I dont think so.

Medio junto a mi amigo Armin, tocamos este hermoso tema en un acto del Liceo, lindos momentos que viví junto a el, un gran amigo que ahora no está junto a nosotros, me trae nostalgia recordar, esos ensayos para que nos saliera bien, me conseguí una Gibson acústica, nos salió bacan amigo. Amigo Armin siempre estarás en mi corazón y memoria.

I never saw this before. James playing "In My life" is just another reason why Metallica is so amazing to me. My brother sent me this and I am just in tears. I got into the beatles just about a year ago and seeing/hearing James play this means a lot to me. It's one of the best songs written (in my opinion). Metallica will always remain one of the all-time best, along with The Beatles! At least, I sincerely hope so.
