Metallica obviously worked very hard to get here $$ but they are only human. Mental and physical health is important. Competition, egos, alcohol don’t mix. Good to see my favourite metal band in a better place now.Sounding amazing 2024 😎
They always seem to have that song on their setlist at every show. Not that it's a bad thing, I just assume the majority of attendees don't care much for any of the songs from Load.
@@scorpionwins6378that's lame. king nothing is a banger & so is a lot of the songs on load. just because they're different from their previous albums doesn't mean it's bad music.
@@scorpionwins6378 yeah, king nothing is arguably load's most popular song, second to until it sleeps. i bet you that most people who think of good songs from load, it's very likely that they think of king nothing first.
I remember all the hype back when this album was new, the one radio station where i lived at the time that played this kind of music had been talking about it for weeks and had announced the time and date when they would debut the first song. Me and several friends got out of school, were hanging out at ones house and had that station playing from his car stereo, waiting for it. New Metallica finally since the black album, hell yeah, then the moment came, the song they chose to debut was Until It Sleeps. It stated playing, we were all listening, waiting for it to start jamming, I mean it wasn't unusual for them to start out chill, then melt your face off 😂, but as we waited and waited, the song ended and we all looked at each other like.....what was that??? It was so disappointing....as well as the rest of the album, it was nothing like Metallica at all. But some time later, and seeing them live playing songs from Load, and even St Anger, I completely changed my opinion and really came to like and appreciate the changes and sound of those albums. We just weren't ready for it yet. Then they made Death Magnetic proving they still were and always will be the Metallica they were from the start. Change is an inevitable part of life, and the only thing in life that is certain. Maybe the 8th of shrooms I ate before the concert started had a bit to do with it IDK, but either way, Metallica was, is, and always will be the Kings of Metal 🤘
My God. You just reminded me of the reason I should be so grateful even though I am locked out of my car and roasting in the heat. At least I am no longer married! Hallelujah.
I love him too ❤️😊 I love this big worldwide Family and this band. Keep rocking in your lifes Metallica Family 🤘🏼That's to 100% the song King Nothing😎Greetings from a young Metallica Fan from Germany 😎🤘🏼🇩🇪
He has come a very long way long way. This is something that everyone should be proud of when battling addiction for years. He literally had to lose himself in order to find himself again and I’m so happy that he did and continues giving us his all with his talent.❤
As an alcoholic myself who has gotten sober, I look up to James because I know how hard it is to get sober. Plus, it must have been extremely hard for James living most of his life on the road touring where I am sure booze and drugs runs rampant and is easy to come by.
The Godfather of Rock I would see you again in Concert! Love you James Hetfield ❤ 🎉 you guys are Awesome in Concert and put on one hell of a Awesome Show
I love how close they are now to the fans. The security is all there, sure, but the band can just reach out and shake hands, give high fives, whatever. They love being there with the fans and it shows.
Seen them twice great both times. The first time they backed up Ozzy on the Master of Puppets/Ultimate Sin tour . Second time was at a relatively new venue, the crowd was tearing up chunks of sod and launching it into crowd in front of them. Got to the point I stood sideways watching behind me, and the stage simultaneously he became aware and let them have it. Great shows both
My first ever metal band I listened to back when i was 15. Yea i started listening a little too old. Didnt grow up in a household with metal music on the radio. My brother listened to gangster rap/hip hop/bob marley, dad got me into oldies but goodies, i will never stop listening to oldies. I was always with my dad but he past away when i was in jr high school. Then later i started hanging out with my cousin and my uncle who used to take us to mom and pop record stores in Los Angeles. Thats when i started getting into Rock. Metallica was my first favorite rock/metal band and they still are. Plus i grew up one city over to where James grew up, Downey, CA. so thats pretty cool to me. I dont GAF what anyone says about Load and Reload, i love those albums. Prince Charming is a great song, mamma said, the outlaw torn, king nothing, aint my bi***, until it sleeps, where the wild things are, fuel great songs to me. Theres only one Metallica song that reminds me of the area i grew up in, My Friend of Misery, and i dont know why. The image instantly in my mind, its the park near my house, its an autumn night, trees dropping their leaves, a little windy, the wind is whistling, light posts lighting up the area with an orange light. So yea, that’s my story.
Oh dude was that King nothing? I saw them in Atlanta in 2022 I think. It was awesome because they played a lot of off kilter shows like they opened with whiplash, they played no leaf clover😊 , just a bunch of oddball songs that I really enjoyed
Never been to a Metallica show but I've heard he's actually a really good dude and very approachable. Like probably the most popular band worldwide. People can change. Jesus christ is the only reason I was able to get sober.
I've set a goal for the next year to see Metallica live in concert as many times as possible . Had congestive heart failure and have other problems to still be addressed, so if I'm alive I'm going to make it happen😊
