Future Music is a magazine, this was published in 2006 and was available with the magazine on the DVD. As we are celebrating our 20th year we have decided to give away some of our previously unavailable videos on our channel. We are sorry that you are not comfortable with receiving free content. None of these interviews are outdated, you can always learn something from them. To get new content you can purchase the magazine (print or digital) - this month its Aeroplane and Shadow Dancer :)
These old ones are so much more creative than what you've been capturing for the last 3 years. It's pretty much always the same stuff every time now, the older ones explored more creative minds and has been a huge influence on our videos. I get it though, the more club-oriented, bigger names, obviously sell tenfold.
Love the randomness. I used to play a lot of his records when i was 'just a dj'. But i always knew he had something different in his productions. U could hear it in his tracks. I honestly cant really remember the exact track but one of his trax is a timeless masterpiece. I would collab with him anyday.
this guy is genius, have non of you ever heard 'horizons' by james holden? I had a mixmag cd mixed by timo maas called 'Dirty Trancing' sometime round 2000 and this track on there just made it for me.... what a guy!! awesome check it out! it reminded me of being at a festival.....
The crazy thing about Jeskola buzz is the developer lost the source code in, like, the 90s, but it was so well loved, hackers kept developing by just breaking into the machine code and doing that. Which is like the programmer equivilent of doing microsurgery with a hand drill. So yeah, its probably a bit unstable these days. But what are the alternatives!
Such a talented guy! He was making tracks at 17/18 years old that Sasha & Timo Maas where playing back in late 90's! His master piece has to be 'The Sky Was Pink'.... still one of the best songs to ever have been created!
he has more then one masterpiece! i even dig his take on Britney Spears - Breathe On Me! i was very sceptical when i saw the original artist name but man, when i played it i was pleasantly surprised!
King in yellow That remix only made the track more mixable imo, the credit goes to Nathan. That said, Holden is the greatest musician in this millenia,
I like that he's weird, He's not a boring same old like a lot of the producers today. My true thoughts are he is a musical genius. I bet he is more prepped than most, He even has 'randomising' Organised!
You are funny. :) Buzz have been "pretty stable" for many years. Recently (last few years), since the new beta-builds, it's been rock solid. "It's not what you use, it's how you use it...and how well you know it". I guess you just have to try Jeskola Buzz to understand how ingenious and magic it is. No one can tell you. You have to swallow the red pill and go down the rabbit hole.
I guess every cameraman begins as an amateur, but being an electronic music mag, you'd think they would at least mic him properly. They've got him, I guess that's almost good enough.
You have completely misunderstood the purpose of the channel. If you want their up-to-date content, why don't you give them your money? And threatening to unsubscribe is like threatening not to like someone anymore - no one cares.
please answer my question... i've been studying real hard about this.... WHAT EXACTLY IS THAT CREATURE ON HIS DESKTOP WALLPAPER??? is it a puppy pitbull??? gunnie pig??? a rabbit???
They're both highly idiosyncratic musicians. I think there's a correlation there. Also, thanks for that reference, I have some old Johnson records I have to break out again, it's way past their due time.
it is mate, reaper is free. it requires no authorisation and and there is no expiration on the evaluation period. they suggest you pay for it when you can afford to..... reaper is free mate..
Self indulgent? So you make music for other people not yourself? I am trying to figure out what you are basing your opinion of him on - I'm thinking it must be because he's using unconventional methods - like maybe he doesnt know any better or something - The end result is all that matters - how you get there does not not! I have to say James Holdens music speaks for itself - its consistently good.
I listened to your track (the only one available on your channel) and compared it Mr Holden's work. You should keep quiet and stop embarrassing yourself.
