Listening to an artist admit mistakes makes me like them more. As a working Dj for 27 years I’ve fallen on my face on more than one occasion. When you are working 4-5 nights a week it happens. Kudos to James Hype for having the balls to say it.
Even most people that started on vinyl don't use vinyl when they play out anymore because it's limited, and also very problematic. It's hard to find a well maintained good set of decks when you're on the road, and lugging large boxes of vinyl around is not practical when you're flying to a different country each day. You'd be mad to use vinyl these days. Good luck if you want to do it, but I doubt you're flying to a different country each day to DJ.
