They are bot lucky. Mercedes is in a prime position right now, the only car that can take podiums and the wins. Any racing driver who wants to win will never do that or at least question why? In case of Bottas it is clear that obeying team orders is part of his contract. He has to obey team orders or else he will break contract. That's why bottas obeys all the orders.
I feel terrible for Bottas sometimes. Usually it's Hamilton who is the faster of the two but Bottas can be very quick on a good day. And then he has to swap positions with Lulu. Wtf man.
Because Lewis had a championship at stake & it wasn’t mathematically possibly for Bottas to take it, Mercedes are never biased until one driver is running away with it, it helps wrap up both titles quicker. Its efficient.

@@JamesV1 yeah not after Lewis launched that antiracism thing and the team backed him up to the point of changing livery. I was hoping for Valtteri this year but it looks clear to me now that the superstar is more untouchable than has ever been. Glad if proven wrong though.

Isn't a good package of a team is required to win, realistically? Like how the hell you gonna win with Haas relying only in skill, good car, and blast your way? I mean, yeah I do dislike Hamilton for being a bit of complainish and crying "why no win" sort of, but regardless of that, I do see him as a talented driver, statistically the most successful driver for now, a nobody created history in the ultra expensive sport, I think it is respectable, but not enough to earn my favoritism over Vettel in so many ways. In every season bottas told to step down atleast twice or more and at the end of the season if u see the gap between lewis and valtery it 50..to 60 pts but imagine if he had that 2 or 3 chequered flags ....but mercedez always assume bottas is nt going to win championship.....this is where nico rosberg is diff frm bottas

@@ajaybedekar8372 bottas got maximum team orders when they both are running for 3rd or 4th place so if bottas leaves 3rd place to hamilton and gets 4th then point difference is 15-12=3 so maximum 9-10 points in a season bottas loses in a season

I hope Alfa has a great car next year, I'm looking forward to seeing Bottas kick ass and not have to be put on the back burner so that Hamilton can win. He deserved a championship while with Mercedes. I want him to do amazingly when he's not with Mercedes. They never deserved him.
Valteri did obey the team orders... He slowed down a lot in the third sector..but his fist ans second sectors were very fast(that it did not affect).Valteri's lap could have been much faster if not for team orders
I actually impressed by Norris at this FP3 session. Questions from his engineer and infos' he gave back was spot on. They looked like they have improved their communication.
