You know, when we hit Grapes, I thought “okay. This is peak James Marriott” and then So Long came out and I thought “alright THIS is peak James Marriott” and then he hit us with Romanticize This and I though “okay, THIS has to be peak James Marriott” but THEN he just casually releases Don’t Blame Me and I’ve stopped lying to myself. The reality is there is no critical mass. James will just keep getting better and better with each song and everything new that comes out will be PEAK JAMES MARRIOTT
For me grapes came out a time that made it really powerful me so it’s still my favourite but I do completely agree he’ll just get better and better we’ve yet to find the event horizon
The Other Side - lyrics I'm too trapped in the moonlight Too caught in the wind To enjoy the view And I'm too stuck in the moment Too lost in the end In spite of you I'm sick of your kind And I know that you won't find me On the other side But the rivers have run dry And nothing here will sate me On the other side I'll sleep in the eye of the storm All the blankets adorned with my dreams I'll reach and get further than most But they're never as close as they seem I'm sick of your kind And I know that you won't find mе On the other side But thе rivers have run dry And nothing here will sate me On the other side And you will think That nothing's worth the fall You'll find peace at the brink The silence of it all And you will see That nothing bears the rope The weight that's underneath There's no way it can cope And you will know That nothing loads the gun The only way to go Is turn your head and run I'm sick of your kind And I know that you won't find me On the other side But the rivers have run dry And nothing here will sate me On the other side
"And you will think, that nothing's worth the fall. You'll find peace at the brink. The silence of it all. And you will see that nothing bears the rope. The weight that's underneath, there's no way it can cope. And you will know that nothing loads the gun. The only way to go ts turn your head and run." LITTERAL FUCKING CHILLS, HOLY HELL MAN, THIS IS AMAZING!!!
WE'RE GETTING TO THE OTHER SIDE WITH THIS ONE BOYS 🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣❗❗❗❗ (but in honesty, one of the best songs ive ever heard. Thanks for this masterpeice of an album James =} )
The the person who said this is the best James Marriott song: you're so right. This song gave me literal CHILLS. My stomach turned around hearing the end of this song because, HELL, DID YOU HEAR THAT??? This song is literal perfection, and no critic could say anything bad about it (at least not in my face). James, you've come so far over the years and all your songs are literally changing lives. Thank you.
There's something I really appreciate about hearing an aspect of suicidal ideation that's rarely talked about discussed here: the deliberation when the decision isn't made in an impulsive panic, weighing the pros and cons of all your options and reviewing all the ways they could each go wrong. It's a very strange internal conversation to have. But it's one that I think probably saves quite a few people. The longer actually taking action against yourself is delayed, the more likely you are to get past the feeling and change your mind. And if the thing delaying you is thinking about all the ways that every method could go wrong and all the cons that come with each even if everything goes right, then that only helps push you away from choosing suicide even more.
@@Flerfonson I mean, good in the sense that it helps you avoid getting smacked down by certain online platforms, but I'd encourage you to not let ad-friendly censorship policies take words away from you entirely. We have a right to talk about things like suicide openly and not have Instagram rules follow us around. (I hope this isn't coming off as hostile; I'm not trying to start a fight, just sharing my thoughts.)

I had the absolute pleasure of hearing this life changing banger live last year. Despite it being completely perfect then, James has cleaned it up and added a few bells and whistles and I can now proudly say this is my favourite Jimbo Mazza song So, so, so, proud of you Jimbo ❤❤
