I’m obviously doing something wrong. I just wish I knew what it was. Much as I like James Morrison (I have his DVD but it’s also on RU-vid) he makes it look easy but that doesn’t help, it’s just frustrating and depressing.
It always amuses me when I hear out of condition trumpet players advocate jogging etc to help breathing e.g David Hickman, James Morrison, Maurice Andre, Maynard Ferguson. The only trumpet player in good condition I’ve seen (who advocates chin-ups) is Lynn Nicholson.
