I hate, hate, *HATE* what the movies gave us about James. He was was thrown into the background and it still makes me very sad. Your videos give him justice, and this one is perfect as usual.

as for Lily, Sophie Skelton has that warm, approachable, and charming look that I always imagined while reading the books. the color of the eyes are the only difference, but for me she's perfect as Lily as well IMO.

It breaks my heart to feel the need to explain that James Potter was not a bully but he was one of the bravest sorcerers; to movie fans. I cant even say that they destroyed his character in the movies because there was no James in the movies, I believe we deserved to see how a beautiful soul he was. I understand that it seems like Snape is the big hero to those who only saw the movies but he definitely was not. He was the one who chose the dark side and he just paid for his debts. Yet James Potter was the one with the right choices and the virtues. A brave wizard who was there for his friends all the time, who grew up in a beautiful family -yet with the fear of loosing them- and who loved Lily as much as an human being can love another. His story deserved to be told, the only comfort I have is these fancasted videos, au's... My point being is this is such a wonderful video and it kinda broke my heart cuz once more it made me wish that we had somethings in our hands about James and whole Marauders era..:(

I thought I was okay and then I saw 2:40 and yeah, I'm definitely not ok. Seeing Aaron as James knowing that he actually had auditioned for the part is such a gut punch too. Gorgeous and heartbreaking as always. Happy birthday Prongs

Aaron is the perfect James for Daniel's Harry. OMG!! This was so fantastic. The scenes fit perfectly well. The part where Voldermort was asking James to join him and Lily begged him not to, broke my heart 😭. Amazing video as always

I've never in my life seen a better James Potter fanvid. Ever. Nothing compares and I'm blown away. Emotional, gut-wrenching and beautiful but tragic all at once. I was especially thrown by Voldemort trying to recruit James while torturing Lily jfc. You told a whole ass story in just 4 minutes putting together different shows and movies and actors that never worked together in a flawless masterpiece. It's as if they always fit together this well. I'm literally going to rewatch this 10 times and cry. How are you so talented? How is James Potter never given what he deserves except by the Marauders era fandom? This is what we deserved to see on screen. Happy Birthday James Potter, the boy who grew up to become a hero

I think the reason why ATJ is chosen by the fandom as James Potter for the Marauders Era, is because he resembles movie Harry. I mean if it's movie based look, ATJ is perfect, but if it's book based, any actor could be perfect.

People think James is just a Bully, but he's not. He saved Sirius by being a real family to him, helped and protected Peter and made Remus feel loved. He loved Lily and took her side when she and Severus stopped being friends. He fought for the peace of the Wizarding world, sacrificed his life, and captivated many other people. He didn't deserve the hatred and indifference that people have for him. he deserves better.

This was so fucking GOOD. My reaction through this was priceless- there's not a single moment in this was I wasn't jumping up and down with excitement because how well it was put together!! The suspension, the build, pulled out until the end- I'm honestly speechless. Wow.

You don't understand how the Marauders and JILY broke me so much and this video made it worse (in a good way). "I could have stopped him." fucking cried on Peter's part. I fucking hate and love Peter at the same time. I mean. I adored his young version so much that I just badly want to cast aside what his older self did (which was still wrong) He was a kid as well; naïve and a friend of the Marauders too. Many fic writers always forget about Peter when they write the Marauder's fan fiction, they always put aside Peter because of what he did. They always forget that Peter once sacrificed his education for Remus who had a condition, and supported Sirius and James in every step of the way. It's just that insecurity got the best of him (one of the many reasons he chose the dark side I think) and his fear. Sadly, the only thing brave did was to betray the thing that is most valuable to him. He could've just asked for help (I know it's not easy), but like he said, "what is there to be gained by fighting the most evil wizard who has ever existed." respect. dignity. friends who cared. friends who will always be there for you all throughout. "he would've killed me, Sirius!" "THEN YOU SHOULD HAVE DIED! DIED RATHER THAN BETRAY YOUR FRIENDS. AS WE WOULD HAVE DONE FOR YOU!"

I love how you paralleled Remus/Sirius' quotes with Harry/James, the entire 'I saw him'/Patronus arc from start to finish. James' childhood, marauder mischief and then recruitment by Tom, and Jamie as Peter - casting is spot on. I think what really got to me was Lily and baby Harry manips, and James sleeping with Harry on him - MERLIN, you got me good #emo
