That ship has the best horn

I know all you shipfans LOVE those salutes but imagine owning a home close by and being woke up frequently in the middle of the night or early morning every day! Some of you might feel differently. Ditto for the railfans who get excited by locomotives constantly blowing the horn thru town but don't think about those living there. The ship horns are not too bad, its that bridge horn that is deafening because its a higher pitch than the ship horns.

Hey Mike does the Barker have two separate whistles or does the captain pull the lever with different pressures to get those most excellent tones ?

People often wonder why everyone in Duluth/Superior makes such a huge fuss about ships coming and going. It's simply because there's literally NOTHING else to do up there that isn't alcohol related.
