What a wonderful performance! As a senior myself, I have so much respect for others who, like myself, keep giving each day---what we may lack in physical vitality now, we have gained in spirit. Thank you, James Taylor, and thank you to Kim Taylor also for great music and spirit.
Whoa! The song James Taylor picked! "They let me know you were gone. The plans they made for you put an end to you" somebody's joke about our beloved America?

As a kid you loved their songs, as adults you realize these dysfunctional people were just crying out for help...their once beloved songs of the past now take on a whole new meaning! God Bless Our Country...and now we pray more!

Kim Smedvig is his wife, Simon was a parasite who attached herself to a much greater songwriter in the hope that some of his talent would wear off on her. Have you seen Simon lately? A total plastic surgery case and still an egomaniac I suppose.
Love JT music but his politics are pretty nonsensical. Too bad. Wish these musicians would stay out of politics. I doubt he spends that much time looking deeply into democrat policies. I am disappointed. I am sure it would be difficult to turn down an invitation to sing at the White House without causing a big stir. Still, am a little disappointed.
I don't want any musician to tell me how to think or vote, let alone a former junkie. They just need to play the songs from the records we bought that made them rich.
Someone knows nothing about James level of political awareness and knowledge . Sounds just like someone telling Lebron James to “ Just play basketball”. James used to be a GREAT guitar player. His agent should not let him play anymore... I don't care about the politics of it but that was just poor playing and performance. He should get a full battery of tests done to make there is not some cognitive decline going on.
