She's smart enough to know that with "credit" also comes blame. Best to wait and see how many of the crew make it back onto dry land and into the studio the next week.
So true, I have watched it unfold and I want to go back and watch it again and will. The same with many other episodes minus studio audience, it is just the best.
James is trying to make sure that the crew who endured the whole pandemic with him on the studio will get a damn good cruise vacation on the network's expense. And seeing how well they did, they freakin deserve it! Fins Up, guys! And at this point, we're just watching and enjoying a group of friends planning their summer vacation. Lol
"I did so much good work today and I don't want you to back track it" "No. No! Hold your peace!" "I didn't ask for ANY of this" This is a man craving the sweet relief of a 9 to 5 workday spent mostly in a cubicle. A man begging for the tribulations of mundanity and small talk.
I love that James has consistently been "negotiations? hell no, we are aaall in, baby. We are desperate for this!" and "let's throw the deal into doubt live on air" meanwhile Nick "Mother Lovin' VP of Late Night" is "hey, be cool man! Don't show all our cards!"
@@chukwudiilozue9171 Well, they are offering a cruise line, after over a year of being recognised for the floating petri dishes that they are, a chance for some publicity and an image "refresh". The LLS are in a pretty strong positon whatever happens.
Oh my god, even the executives are hilarious. Sent him an email saying "enjoying the show with love and admiration" too funny. Best show ever, hands down!
Agreed. I could have sworn that I'd get tired of this format or they'll just lose momentum about 3 months in but I've never been so glad to be so damn wrong
how do these opens get better and better...this is the best honest funny tv...someone get them a writing award and give it to everyone in the studio!!!!
This show has become my favorite since quarantine happened for sure. I don’t have cable but I love the late night shows, couldn’t watch them forever. Then I realize that they were on RU-vid LOL. Thanks quarantine LOL
Poor nick, we the viewers appreciate ya. We're here in support for ya, James, stop tormenting poor nick. Thanks for making us laugh and smile. Luv the show. Stay safe y'all.
James should just chat like this for their shows on the cruise. Quality content. Follow Dave around, ask what everyone's getting from the buffet, literally anything. This crew and their chaos on the boat will be amazing
Can you please post this entire season of monologs, including the news? I want to share it with friends, but it won't be funny unless they start at the beginning!
Ive been watching the monologues of Colbert, Kimmel, Seth and Fallon every morning for the last like year and then somehow discovered how Corden is now and man. All the other ones are just upsetting because they talk about the GOP and Trump and sht ALL THE TIME.. Corden is just fun with a liiiittle bit of stupid news. Now sometimes I dont even watch Seth and Colbert.
Poor Nick, has to answer to the big bosses and the big money and make sure everyone´s salary is covered. I had a job like this once, and I can definitely see him suffer, while JC is sailing into unknown late night territory.
I'd like to point out that this whole cruise thing never would have happened if there were a crowd...I love this show when it just fires the way that it has been. Also, can I please be Susan's date on the cruise?
Watching these monologues are some of the best parts of my day now. Absolutely hilarious and I'll honestly be a little sad when they get an audience back.
I really want to see this boat thing happen. I love the spill your guts segment. Maybe have Dave host it instead with Patti LuPone. Great bonding moment for the new friends.
This is so typical of LA. People are all talk but no follow through. They talk like they want to do stuff and talk about making plans but then when it actually looks like whatever it is will actually happen all of a sudden every body backs out or they just ghost you. I hope the cruise happens. I'd love to see it. Get Dramamine to sponsor!
