Although I agree with a lot of what James says, he really needs to change the way he conducts his manner live on air. Off air I’d speak to these activists like he did but on air needs to be more professional.

James Whale is unnecessarily abrasive and arrogant in almost every interview he does with anyone he disagrees with. I totally agree with him on the topic but he's there to insult and fight, not to have a conversation. Calling a guest 'stupid', 'an idiot' and 'a moronic twit' is a horrible and unprofessional way to conduct an interview. His behavior said more about him than the activist, who actually handled the constant insults in a civil manner.

Is this really what classifies as a debate or discussion. Whether you agree or disagree with the argument - at the foundation of the conversation should be mutual respect. The activist on the show did not raise his voice or call anyone names. However, James Whales constantly interrupts and says "you are an idiot, you are stupid." He literally tries to invalidate the facts someone is presenting in the same way a child screams names at his mother when he cannot get what he wants. Regardless of opinion - this was an absolute joke. "Epic clash"?! lol. this was more "old man rants and babbles." TalkTV is really proving the demise of sensible discourse.

I am a climate analyst. I worked in the Oil & Gas industry. I have a Masters in Petroleum Geoscience with Exploration. From an educational, and a professional point of view, I feel I have some sort of qualified handle on both sides of the energy and climate arguments. However, be under no illusion. James Whale’s tactics here do NOTHING for civil discourse on what is a very complex matter. This was painful and embarrassing to watch.

If James wants to eat an animal let him eat an animal, I wouldn't, but it's up to him. But if all the farmers did go all green and get rid of all their farm animals, what exactly do you think they'll do with them? HUM?
