Just watched Patel being questioned on “Parliamentarian” what an eye opener! Never realised how totally useless she really is, the questioner shredded her she’s clueless, the French are running rings round her and she was even making excuses for them! Nothing will change with her at the helm.

France is a safe , place, we had a nice holiday there in 2019. These people are not suffering, France is lovely, nice wine, cheese etc.

It's not hard to work out here in UK we give massive hand outs and accommodation over are own citizens. I'm not allowed on the council housing waiting list as a single man but if i came across in a dingy as single man I'd be put at the top of the council housing waiting list.

Of course we're too soft on them that's why they want to come to the UK rather than stay in France or any of the other safe and civilised countries they pass through before they get here. I watched some guy from Eritrea being interviewed the other day and he was complaining that he was only getting £5.00 a day in benefits so I looked up the minimum wage in his home country and it was just over £14.00 per month in comparison ( the only minimum wage was listed for the civil service ) to the £155.00 a month he was getting here. That's why they come, they get free stuff, more free stuff than they'd get in other countries. Not impressed with the shill you interviewed who makes his living from immigrants so obviously he wants more coming in but no doubt not at his children's school, living in his neighbourhood or clogging up the NHS near him.

Some of my relatives fled communist Yugoslavia in the 1960s. They were put into a refugee resettlement scheme through the UN while they were in West Germany and could've been sent to the UK, US, Australia or Canada, etc.. They ended up in Canada and have been hard-working, taxpaying citizens with no criminal records or anything of the sort ever since. That's the story of refugees seeking asylum. As Ash said, REAL REFUGEES ARE SO THANKFUL TO BE SAFE AND SOUND they will go ANYWHERE.

Under his criteria he would let countless millions into this country.

My widowed niece with her young son had to spent seven years on the council housing list watching recent African and Asian immigrants being allocated housing ahead of her. And there is another billion out there coming. At what point to these angels of mercy realise it is wrong? When the last green field is being marked out for housing? .

When I was young in the 40's and 50's the population of this country was 45m. It was a happy, beautiful place to live.The population is now something like 65m and growing, and sad to say, the country is an overcrowded sh1thole. (Try going anywhere - beach, day out etc. and the roads are jammed, the attractions are jammed and life is unpleasant). Houses are being built on any vacant space regardless, are crammed together and are nothing more than sleeping pods. How many more immigrants can we take? Not sorry I haven't got long to go.

Also let’s look a habitable land mass per capita.

Point missed ..Blaire and boys are busy mopping up in other countries..oil and resources. Some of the migrants are displaced from places where this is going on. This always gets missed in this slanging match.
