He really found and peaked his Voice once again in Load and Reload Era, I don't care what anyone says I love that era of Metallica. James is Musical God he couldn't stay limited.
@@jye_24 I mean, they were probably 33 by the time load was released, and I feel like there was a lot more musical styles they wanted to try out, Kirk was into goth music, Lars was a fan of Oasis at the time, James has always been a huge blues and country fan, so of course they wanted to try something new, they also settled down, got married and had kids, of course they weren’t going to be the angry teenagers/young adults they once were, people mature, I feel like load/reload was basically them shifting to a more mature and dad rock sound and I think it’s awesome, those two albums are full of southern bluesy hard rock gems, and who cares if they cut their hair off and stared dressing more normal? Again, they matured, only people that care that much about looking like a “true metalhead” have got to be the most insecure people out there lol.
@@marioncarbonell6047and yet the “fans” hated the load/reload music but the true fans stuck around mainly because all bands eventually mature as one Metallica wasn’t going to be ticked off and alcohol fueled music forever I love all of there music but the 80s Metallica does hold a special place in my heart.
master of puppets is their best work and the best beginner metal album because its heavy and fast and technical, but also super well written and accesible. All killer no filler.
@@danielnagyteehee depends on what matters to you - if you want to listen to a MBDTF or TPAB-esque magnum opus then listen to MoP but if you want to listen to the best SOUNDING metal album that's spent the second-longest time on the Billboard charts out of any album literally ever, listen to the Black Album. Both are fantastic for very different reasons
@@602Tman you calling MoP "MBDTF or TPAB-esque" masterpieces would have made my younger hip-hophead very happy. I'm genuinely very excited for both, but I think I'll stick with the Black Album for now. Thank both of you very much for your recommendation
I think it’s funnier because this was part of the S&M album and my dad owned the CD, I remember him talking about the first time he heard it laughing at the way james sung this part
