I saw you Jamey Johnson right after George Jones died in Corbin Kentucky fairgrounds. You my man played for over 4 hours and never took a break and sang Tammy wynette songs. You my man was the best Concert I've ever been to
❤Just love you with all my heart.Your love and sense of humor for everyone you come in contact with just blows me away . Especially when it comes to our country and the Americans who fought and died for us,the next generation. For that I am so grateful.Thankyou again.😊
Love Jamey. And I love Randy, too. They both sound like country is supposed to sound. Gonna be seeing Jamey with Blackberry Smoke in September - can't wait!!!
The best damn concert I’ve been to. And when he brought Mr. Travis up, my body tingled all over. That’s what music is all about. Glad I found someone else who filmed it. I wasn’t far behind your point a view and a little more center. Man what a show!
The first time I heard Jaime s first song, my wife and I was on the way from Pensacola to Gatlinburg for a week. We stopped in Montgomery and bought the disk, played it non-stop for more than a month, and we are still hooked!
That is awesome Jamey Johson so sorry for Randy Travis many prayers out to him. I am recuperating from a bunch of mini strokes myself.love both of them. I think Jamey Johnson and Chris Stapleton should make a song together.
I saw Randy Travis in 1989 with Ricky Van Shelton and I saw Jamey Johnson about a week ago. I count myself lucky to have been able to experience that in my lifetime.
I adore Randy's music, saw him many years back in Maryland. As much as I adore his music, it was up there with the worst shows I've seen and I've seen tons. He didn't interact, zero personality. Maybe we caught him in a bad timebut it was memorable. I could have stayed home and listened to his albums. Still, I'm sorry how life has done what ot did. He looks soooo much better each time I see him now.😊
Love all jamey's songs , and the hell with all the haters that give him hell for playing covers at his shows. When he come's to Charleston west by god virgina i would like to have a beer with him
oh to have 5 or 100 hours in that beard... i saw him in Montgomery and hollered could i touch the beard and well he didnt say no... so i still hold out hope 😘 love me some Jamey Johnson
My oldest brother is Gary Carters brother in law, steel guitar player extraordinaire for Randy Travis,Faith Hill and Marty Stuart, check him out, phenomenal musician and great person
I have heard stories about Jamey Johnson not performing up to other's expectations over the years, but I have to disagree whole heartedly on that. I had the pleasure seeing Jamey and Randy Houser a few years back in Hot Springs, Arkansas. It was a night after an ice storm had passed through, so attendance was down. Unaffected by the number's being down, iced over roads, and the venue being smaller than they normally play, both artists were outstanding! After they both finished their own shows, they came back on stage together and continued switching back and forth taking turns singing everything you can imagine. Side note: Justin Moore grew up just a few miles away and his Grandfather had passed away. He was in town for the services and came to support and show his love to both Jamey and Randy They got Justin(who is a hometown favorite)up on stage with them. He rotated in with them and they all 3 kept playing the Golden Country Jukebox. Hit after hit of the greatest country music songs and artists to ever hum a note. They played everything from Merle Haggard, Eagles, Charlie Rich, to George Jones and Hank Junior. You could feel that they were having a great time. They played past midnight, that night. It, to thus day, was my favorite show to ever see, live. I am in my early fifties, now and I have seen almost everyone that has come through country music, in my generation and many who came before. George Jones, Merle, Strait, Jackson, Conway, Garth, Tammy, Patty, Lee Ann Womack, Eric Church, etc., and that night, in Hot Springs Arkansas, I witnessed my most memorable concert I had ever seen.
This is where if you ain’t took a trip across the country from Montgomery you have no idea what that song is about. If don’t nobody but Jesus care where we been, He does and nothing or nobody else’s opinion of what they think the truth is matters. If they didn’t live it they can’t sang it and have no clue.
As the next generation losing so many so fast, we Have to keep it going or lose FOREVER ,and none even knows what that means. Why us older people give up too soon ,to much grief for our lost soldiers and troubadours to help us make it through the night
