I'm an Oilers fan, but I have deep respect for the season the Stars gave their fans. Really classy team. This series wasn't dirty. The Stars have a lot of great seasons coming up. It really tugs at the heart strings seeing these guys talking about Joe. So many amazing players never get to hoist that cup. Dallas fans should be proud of their boys. Hell of a team. It was an honor to play you guys.

Im an Oilers fan, just wanted say sorry there can only be 1 team that can win, you guys got an amazing team and I personally respect so many guys who are high character players. Joe is one guy I have cheered for years to win a cup. On a bright side, you guys have alot of young talent Robertson, johnston, oetter, have no question you'll be in the hunt again next year.

This series gave me a deeper perspective & respect for the detailed depth of your team. Being a former Oiler Dynasty season ticket holder during the 80’s, I was around for those later years of ongoing playoff battles with the great, Mike Modano & Co.. 🇨🇦

Dalls settled for low percentage shots and dumped the puck when they needed to keep possession to get the offense going. They looked defeated in the last 8 minutes, half looked like they wanted to cry, the rest looked like they were full of doubt and quit. Toughen up them mentals boys. You're THE team..... next year. No need for roster moves unless a great defender comes knocking and looking to help. This Dallas team made me a fan. Never in my 40+ years have i cheered for the Stars (even when they were Minnesota) , but this season changed that. Much love to the team, thank you guys for the emotional ride! P.S. can someone order a drug screen on skinner? Nobody turns around that incredibly insane like that without some substance being used.

If you look back to game after the 2nd goal then miss the next goal. It seems like they had nothing left in the tank,plus a few injuries! The Stars were flat. I blame that on fatigue and long and hard run Just not much left...

Hundred.percent in agreement talking to members of the victorious to appreciate their emotional high however, there's something malicious, when emotions are extremely raw, talking to members of the vanquished. It's reminiscent of slowing down to take pictures at the scene of an accident or pressing rewind to review footage of people suffering through natural disasters; no one wants that form of commemoration; there's definitely something perverse with that mindset & before anyone comments on the irony of posting this sympathetic message here, I have viewed reactions from the winning team ... this definitely balances the scales.

Its just so amazing to me that Jim Nill can win cup after cup in Detroit, and win nothing, but regular seasons here. 😂

Dallas was lifeless and MIA in this series. How do u beat two of the best teams earlier in the playoffs, and lay and egg again in the West Conf finals. Karma will catch up with Edmonton in the finals, bc Florida is all heart and brings sandpaper. Stars need to watch and learn.

As a life long Stars fan I was really disappointed in last nights loss, but it was still great hockey to watch. That first goal by McDavid was just insane. I can’t even be mad at a goal like that. Good luck against the Panthers, Oilers.

Bring back Pavelski 1 more yr. With a healthy D they can win next yr. I saw them play 4 D most nights with big minutes through 3 rounds. Congrats to Oiler fans, Mcdavid n Draisatl deserve a cup final being the best 2 players last countless yrs. They have been through there hard times. Ppl said these guys can't defend or get good goaltending well this is the best I've ever seen them at both. Good job guys.

Its really sad seeing them like this, I feel the way they played all year and the battles they faces in the playoffs were hard fought victories. I was really hoping Joe would get that Stanly cup this year. Hopefully we get one more year with him to try again next season. You can tell the team was very hurt the way things turned out and I believe everything was against them in these playoffs. To be honest, I think this series was decided by two things: Vegas throwing that game and swapping places with the LA Kings at the end of the regular season Referees calling a lot of penalties early on then going silent rest of the game during Western Conference Playoffs Stars fought the two best teams in the Western Conference back to back (Vegas and Avalanche) while Oilers got Kings then the Canucks (And the oilers were clearly better than the Canucks, it went to 7 due to goalie issues). Multiple injuries of top players like Hintz (Then Tanev getting injured in game 4 against Edmonton completely screwed Dallas) and just having no real breaks wore them down. Then games 5 and 6 against the Oilers was a bunch of early calls that got them some freebies since they had a very good special teams. Dallas had the better 5 on 5 playing but each time the game was decided by special teams goals and refs refusing calls about half way through the second period. Now to be fair, against Dallas I think Skinner stepped up compared to how he's played most of the year. If Skinner had played like he did against Canucks (Or they swapped goalies), this series would have ended alot differently. I think Panthers are going to win the cup this year. I think with the rest they are going to get mixed with the fact they don't have any major injuries is going to be in their favor as I think they are a much more overall better team than the Oilers. Oilers definitely have at least the number 1 (And possibly even number 2 or 3) player in the league, but they are relying on them like they did in the Wayne Gretzky era and Mcdavid maybe great, but he's not Wayne Gretzky. Yea I am not a fan of how this turned out. But I feel like Dallas was robbed after playing as well as they did all year and during the first two series in the playoffs. I think if Vegas had not thrown that game, Oilers would have been eliminated early on and it would have been Vegas vs Stars in the Western conference two years running (And maybe Dallas would have still lost, but it would have been a totally different series).

sorry Dallas, its bitter to go out in the semis, but the hockey world wants the Oil team to lift the cup this season. 😍
