I just lost my brother 2 days ago. This was the song I played to him, just before his heart stopped beating. He was comatose at this point, but as soon as he heard the song, his heart rate went up. He was just 42, we always shared music with each other, and I will continue. For him. Thank you, Jamie, for this song. I will hold it in my heart forever. To Luke... I love you. Never forgotten. Forever loved.

I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I went through the same thing with my Brother at only the age of 25. He was the Best Friend I was Blessed to have had. We were only a year apart in age. He lives on in my heart.

My 12 year old nephew passed away on Saturday afternoon after a 2 year battle with cancer. This was one of his favourite songs and he asked his daddy to play it for him and an hour later he closed his eyes and passed peacefully. He was a believer so his blessings will come in the new city in Heaven 🙏🏽🙌🏽❤

Absolutely gorgeous. My grandparents have been married over 67 years. They are both in their 80s and while my grandfather's physical health has declined, my grandmother is slowly losing herself to dementia. They have spent their lives devoted to each other. I know when one goes, the other will follow and they wouldn't have it any other way. It breaks my heart that that day will be sooner rather than later, but they have the kind of love I wish I was lucky enough to find.

I lost my Mum in 2019, it was by far the hardest thing I've ever gone through (and that's coming from someone who has brain damage from an accident when I was 6 years old). Now, I walk this earth with a purpose, that purpose is that when I see my Mum again, she'll be proud of me. I've never taken drugs, very rarely drink alcohol and have never had intentions in living a dirty life. I've never been religious, I grew up believing in God, but never went to church, never prayed, was never baptised, and as time went on, I started to question if he existed, but now, it doesn't matter if he exists or not. The day my Mum died, with all the upmost respect, God stopped being MY higher power and my reason I walk this earth, that spot now belongs to my Mum.

Wtf! Why is this beautiful moving song being over looked! How has it not blown up! The video, the vocals, the music! C'mon this song matters. The message and soul in it can really help and move a lot of other souls. Jamie Bower has been giving us beautiful music for years and I know he's a famous actor and all but his music has never got the recognition it deserves! Why! Help me blow this song up! This is beautiful... crying because my Granny just died. We saw hours before she past. She had just had her 81st birthday 4 days before. She did suddenly. She was recovering from surgery finally then randomly slumped over. I kissed her goodbye at the funeral on the forehead.... I hope her and my Mimi who died of a brain stem anyusm when I was 15 and my babies I miscarried last year and my cat Oreo who got chopped in half with a bush hog are together

Thank you. This song truly shows the unbearable pain of losing a loved one. I lost my entire family in various tragedies yet never was able to say goodbye to one of them. I've always wondered if that can lesson the pain or make it worse if I had seen them sick and slowly dying. We are Blessed to have any loved ones in our lives..Never take one day for granted.

Lost my husband, best friend, my everything 2 years ago in a tragic accident just blocks away from home. I heard the crash and ran to the scene only to be held back by paramedics and cops trying to save his life. When I first heard this song, I had it on repeat as I sat there next to his roadside memorial, it's my favorite song to sing when I go to sit at his cross. Your comment really resonated with me, and though I rarely comment on any videos, I just felt I really need to. In the last few years I lost nearly my whole family, my Hero, my Daddy, followed by my Mother, then my sweet little sister, my Mom in Law who was also my best friend for 25 years, and her Mom as well. I’m omitting a few just because it’s a lot… way too many even. I thought I was literally broken. It sure felt like it. At the time, my husband and I had just been blessed with our first grand baby, a beautiful boy. He was soon followed by an amazing baby girl, and then another handsome baby boy. They don’t know it, but they saved my life. And most likely my husband’s too. Because the pandemic, they moved in with us. And thankfully, because it has worked so well, they are all still here. And a new baby boy is due at Christmas. I also discovered my new passion, watercolor. I believe it was a combination of grand babies and art that helped me cope, and even escape for a little while, without drugs or alcohol. To be completely candid, I do still think about my Daddy, and everyone else we lost every single time I wake up. Only now, I think of them and smile, and say a little prayer of thanks, followed by a “See ya later”, because I don’t believe in good byes., Just see ya later. I hope you are able to find a healthy happy place to go to any time you have these same feelings again. I would like to say a little prayer for you if that’s ok? I wish you and yours all the best, and a Happy Holidays as well.

I lost my son 10 years ago this year. We were not close but I love him & hold him close to my heart. This song brought out so much emotions. I cried for the first time since his passing. RIP Christin.

I still can't find words for how beautiful the song and the love in it is. Just wanted to share that the lady in it looks very much like my former voice teacher. She was a brilliant teacher and with a very caring and wise heart. We had good talks while I was feeling lost back then. Seeing 'her' in the video surprised me and reminded me of her, shortly before she would contact me in an letter of good-bye as she knew she was dying. Now, that song is both another beautiful work of you, plus a painting of a love I hope to find someday, plus a special kind of memorabila of that teacher. Thank you for all of that.
