Durham drops a controversial comment in just before the news before his show starts, to wind people up, so they will phone in the show , once he’s done that he’s got the basis of his show. Make a career out of it on Talksport, and still to this day there’s people who can’t see it all for what it is.

Well Klopp did have Lewandowski at Dortmund as an out and out forward, so I don’t think it will be too hard for Liverpool to adapt. If anything they’ve needed one. At that time he played 187 games and scored 103 goals.

I've never understood why people get so wound up by Durham and Talksport in general. It's not as if he and other presenters are making controversial statements about race, gender, politics or getting personal. It is literally just sporting banter and done to lightly take the piss. Personally, I think the departure of Durham, in addition to the departure of Goldstein from the Sports Bar last week is a loss and yet another example of broadcasters and entertainment channels replacing characters and a working formula just for change sake. Sure, Goldstein and Durham may say things you disagree with, but at least they have personalities unlike so many of the bland robots being appointed to high profile tv and radio roles currently.
