His more serious acting came after his comedy career. His first R&B album is is called "Peep This" 1994, 2nd R&B album "Unpredictable "2005", 3rd R&B album "Intuition" 2008. Last 2 albums went platinum. Jamie is known as the Triple Threat...Comedy, Singing, Acting🥳

I remember when Jamie Fox came to San Antonio in the 1990’s, to do his comedy show downtown, we saw him live and he did not disappoint!!! We laughed thru his whole show, Love the fact that not only is he a comedian and musician but an accomplished piano player.

Couple notes: The white guy they kept showing laughing in the audience that you didn’t recognize was Tom Cruise. Jamie Foxx & Tom Cruise did a movie together in 2004 called Collateral. Good suspense movie! Cruise was married to actress Katie Holmes for 6 years. Then Foxx dated her for 6 years after Cruise divorced her. And the very end, the black guy in the powder blue suit laughing hysterically is LeBron James. Next to him is his Mom. And yes, many have already commented that Jamie Foxx started his career as a comedian and he studied music. The TV show In Living Color was Foxx’s big break. The show was ahead of it’s time and started the careers of many prominent actors since, most notably Foxx, Jim Carrey, and Chris Rock. Also, they had a female dance troupe in between sketches. Jennifer Lopez started her career in the dance troupe called The Fly Girls. Highly recommend checking out the entire series, In Living Color.

Jamie Fox is a comedian and an all around entertainer. He started out in stand up comedy threw in singing in his sets expanded into acting. The song you might know is he is singing the hook on Kanye West “Gold Digger” and Jamie Foxx “Blame it on the Alcohol”.

I forget how youthful you two are but Jamie has a couple albums to his credit, the man is a classical pianist as well.
