Yep, I was there too back in the early 2000's, maybe even 1999. 8 was considered huge. 7.75 was where most people were at.

Opposite for me I'm 6 ft and a mini/smaller board size Improved my flat land tricks. Whatever works for your parameters.

Think the pros skate different shit than what they sell to consumers. All customs based off their weird quirks that might not appeal to your average skater. But I agree, I’d love a twin tail deathwish

@@Provemerightthx I hope everything works out man, a couple years ago I slammed on a hill bomb and shattered my collar bone to the point I had 2 pieces of bone sticking out of the skin. Went to the ER and it was bandaged because I had no insurance and was given a Walgreens sling and sent home. I swear to god. I purchased a 3 month insurance plan and 48 hours once it was instated I went back to the hospital and they said i needed major surgery because I was still completely unable to move my right arm. Now I’m stuck with numerous complications with the metal plate and screws and can’t get it taken out because I have no insurance and no plans will cover “pre-existing” conditions. Just the other day I coughed hard and lost all feeling in my arm and it turned completely purple and I couldn’t move it an inch. American healthcare is fucked beyond repair

Its barely conmfy when I wear size 12 shoes 😅😅 might still go up to 8.75 but 8.5 feels right.

I use a 8.5 but I’m also 6’3 😅 but i do have an 8 it just doesn’t feel as stable to me yanno

@Whats An /r woooosh? I feel U. I've been swapping between 8.3 and 8.5, and there is a difference in weight for sure. Indy hollows do make a bit of difference and I thought I wouldn't notice.

6’4” here and my 8.5 feels a little narrow with 13 chucks.

idk how we skated them little ass boards back in the day. I will be skating 8.5 forever so much more room to land on the board
