I am only 9 and most of my friends aren't christens and they make fun of me and I will have faith. I love Jamie grace she is my inspiration.

This songs just sinks in to my heart. I have been through this situation too, when you think there's something between you two, but it turns out "we're just friends". It hurt so bad knowing that I'm just "that"...so I'll be "that". But God made me realize that maybe he's just meant to be a friend in my life, and that I should just be happy and appreciate that I have a guy friend like him, who has no hidden agenda with our friendship no matter how close we get, and doesn't only see my gender - being a girl, but sees my whole - as a person. I accepted this fact, and very thankful to God. I believe He has perfect timing. ☝💗

This was my favorite song when I was in high school up until now. I once also fell inlove with one of my high school close friends. I used to sing this song whenever he was near or talking to me. We became really close when we were starting in college . I can sense the way he cared for me that there was really something between us and our feelings are mutual. Not until he became close with one of his girl classmates that soon became his girlfriend. I'm glad we stayed friends and I can say without bitterness that I'm just a friend. I'm 22 still NBSB, I'm waiting for God's perfect plan for me. Ps. I believe that it would never someone like my dad❣️

I love this! I feel this song has so much meaning to it. Not only can it be about a boy you like, but it can also be about dreams and desires in your life. When Jamie sings about wanting “that guy” in her life, it could also represent goals and aspirations in your life. Then, finally, Jamie sings about being okay when things don’t go to plan, and she trusts in the Lord for something better. I believe this is very important because sometimes God wants us to slow down and pray about it and place all our worries into his hands, and he will take care of us.
