First ever British born AEW Women's World Champion. Jamie Hayter earned this in spades organically. stepped up her game massively and did the work. She is so humble, love hearing this side of her.

While I would have preferred a more "kayfabe" presentation here, I absolutely adored her gushing over the title and her win. Props to Jamie. To say she deserves it is an understatement.
I remember being in the building the first time she wrestled Britt in AEW and when she came back as Britt’s muscle, it awesome to see how far she has come in such a short time. We are about to see the womens division we’ve been wanting for years with her at the forefront
So happy for her especially now she's been confirmed as the actual champion. She's from right round the corner from where I live so I was pulling for her more than I have any wrestler in a long time, I don't usually celebrate victories in wrestling but I did with this one, she's just fucking great. Speaks really well here too.
Best match of the night imo, from an actual pro wrestling standpoint. Obviously there was some crazy matches but all had gimmicks or crazy spots, this was pure pro wrestling at its finest 👌 Jamie is a real pro, as is Toni. Congrats to both of them 👏

I was skeptical when I started watching, but I really wanted Jamie to win. It was a great match, and I'm so glad Jamie is champ, and looking forward to her title defenses.
As a woman I'm gonna say....yes, certain women deserve the time....but holy heck we don't need matches for the sake of it....jade/nyla was a painful watch
@@daisybelle1025 Adding additional women's matches doesn't mean adding bad matches or whatever. AEW has a glut of talent on the Mens and Womens roster. There's room to add another women's match. Pretty much all of their TV shows features one women's match and maybe a segment that features women on the roster. There are more than enough women to feature them on TV. A lof of women get featured on RU-vid, which is great. But they need to give them shine on national TV. Women's wrestling sells.

I remember when she redebutted a year ago i messaged a friend if I should know who she was and got a shrug. Within 3 weeks we were all clamoring for her to be champ. I've never seen such a fast turn around from "who is this" to "give her the belt" over. She and MJF are gonna be looked back on as some of the pinnacle homegrown talent AEW and just iconic.

I was thinking maybe wait until she can win the main belt (not interim) but injuries (Thunder Rosa) are unpredictable and sometimes you have to strike while the iron is hot
