Imagine stating the obvious and thinking you said something noteworthy or insightful Jesus Christ SAF, Jose, Pep , Conte, Klopp to name a few didnt have premier league experience either and were successful winning league titles , whats his point ?
Neither did everyone until they did. Stupid headline. Let's hope he has a personality which Ten Haag did not. Let's hope he can see that a team needs legs, which Ten Haag ignored. Losing 7-0, 5-0, 3-0 at home regularly, getting stuffed by Palace and Bournemouth, unable to beat Brighton. Just utter nonsense from an absolute bluffer.
As a Sporting fan, what I can say about Ruben Amorim is this. In general he is a gentleman, he creates a very strong bond with his players, so much so that the players do and give everything for him and the club. The Sporting dressing room is a family with the motto ‘Where one goes, all go’. We don't know how well he'll do at United, but what I can assure you is that he'll bring back United's identity, he'll make the players breathe and sweat United, he'll unite the whole club. And that's a step towards United turning round the difficult situation they're in.
PL Table now. 1. Pep 2. Slot 3. Arteta 4. Emery 5. Maresca 6. Hurzeler 7. Nuno 8. Ange 9. Frank 10. Marco Silva All of the top 10 have non-PL backgrounds. And None of them are English.
You mean like Jose, Klopp, Wenger, Pep, Conte, Tuchel, Fergie… In fact pretty much every PL great had never managed an English club before. Journalism in 2024. Edit - Just realised literally every other comment is pointing out the same obvious thing.
A lot of managers who could to the premier League didn't have premier League experience but still won the league I'm a Manchester United supporter I wish ruben all the best
Yet all the english managers have Premier League experience but never won the premier league in the last 20 years, Potter had Premier League experience and still failed at Chelsea? This english media😅 they have the ego of CR7 but the ability of Gabby agbonlahor
So this guy says he can name managers who came to the PL without the PL experience and weren't successful and proceeds to name only Erik and can't name any other.. He knows he's chatting absolute belch !
Sporting are doing well in the League & UCL - they don't want to lose that momentum - they don't give a monkeys about Man U... the next 30 day for them is crucial and thye also need to find a replacement
