“We’re doing life on life’s terms.” LOVE that comment. I’m with you Jamie, I love to go to bed early and arise when it’s still dark. The early morning is quiet, peaceful and magical. As soon as the dawn breaks, I begin to hear many birds start to sing their lovely morning songs, they love the mornings too. I am at my best in the early morning-energetic and alert. By noon, I’ve accomplished so much. I admire all that you shared and admire you as an older woman, I’m 67 so you’re still a bit of a kid! You seem very likable as a person. Hoda and Savannah, you two gals are the best. And yes, make Jamie your west coast ambassador!

I have always gone to bed about 9 and up at 4. I retired in December and fell into the pattern of staying up late and sleeping later. I am miserable. I am so out of sync and feel so disorganized. I am going back to my schedule of bed at 9 and up at 4. I want to feel like me. Thank you, Jamie for helping me understand this is normal for me and nothing wrong with it.

I don't go out for dinner, only lunch. I want to be back home before 4pm in order to get the kitties taken care of and prepare for some down time before going to bed by 9pm or so. Then I'm up between 4 and 5 am. I love the mornings, too!!

@@yourturn777 The nice thing is you can get either lunch items or dinner entrees, even at lunch time. So I don't feel I'm missing out on anything by not going out for evening meals.

In 1980 The Rolling Stones did a tour where they came onstage at like 3pm.Played for 2 hours and the show finished before the sun set. Best show ever Had Van Halen as the opening act. She's right about the need for matinee shows to comeback

I met and worked with her in person. She’s amazing. She’s kind thoughtful and invests in the lives of those she works with. Lol I go to bed early as well and up by 345 am due to a horrible assault to my husband that left him in a coma and hospital and rehab for 6 months. He survived amazingly but was very scheduled now so I made mine to match and now early to bed early to rise lol

Yes. I do. Once a week we are required to go to something starting at 7:00PM. When our son was in gradeschool this was difficult because you get home at 9:30; no bedtime story, no shower, I’m going to read awhile and then snooze.

YYYYEEESSSS! Winding down for “cozy time” as the sunset nears. The stillness of the morning is THE BEST. I recall delivering news papers at 5am ( as an 11 year old girl ) while everyone else slept. Musicians please let us day energy people dance and celebrate at your concerts!

Nothing works for me in the mornings. Energy builds as the day goes on. I feel bad for anyone I worked for back in the day, but could go home and paint the kitchen. I guess it is true that it's nature.

I totally agree with Jamie Lee. I am close to her age and I go to bed early too. I NEVER go out after 6:00.....NEVER. I am in bed at 8:30 or 9.... always. I get up in the morning between 4 and 5 as well.

Sadly does not work if you have Delayed Sleep Phase Syndrome and age has nothing to do with it. I would decline breakfast, because the usual time breakfast is the middle of the night for me. 4 am is the best time for me to fall asleep. I still absolutely adore Jamie Lee Curtis, early nights or not.
