The main problem is likely chelsea's medical staff. In roman's era, players healed faster than expected, and no injury crisis unlike now. James has to go and find club that can help him stay fit most of the time

And it's not Chelsea's medical staff, every top team has suffered high amount of injuries, united, Tottenham, Liverpool, even city and arsenal. So no its not the staff it's the intensity of league couple with the fact teams in the top play more games. Now can it be better managed to lower chances, possibly but there will always be Injuries it's that simple. Epl is tougher and more competitive, no game is a push over

It all started under lampards reign i think thats when we changed the physios and trainers. Also if james was smart he would definitely think about moving to a bigger club than chelsea since romans gone. Madrid dont need him half as much as he needs them. He's in his prime and will probably decline in ability rapidly by the time he's 30 considering his injury record. He doesn't have the kyle walker durability gene and as a full back he'll be useless without pace.

I wouldn't go that far. What he did was wrong and we cannot defend it, but please he has missed most of the season. Gallagher should have skippered the team tonight. If I were Poch, he should give him a stern talking to and remind him of what he is doing. If James does it again next season, switching the captaincy over will have to happen, but he should reflect, apologise and next season after his three game sit out is done he will be back more than ever.

@@AJ-nd4nk Trent isn’t a better right back, the guy is not a great defender. Trent’s only really better than him for ball striking ability and obviously fitness. James is faster, stronger, better dribbler, better defender and a better goalscorer perhaps

@@itsbboybump well considering Reece James is 10 times the player Gallagher is and he finally had an operation on I think his knee where he kept getting recurring injuries, I’d see how he gets on now because he might be able to play more consistently now due to that operation. Regardless if you can only get 60 million for him, I’d keep him anyway because he’s a big leader and world class player
