Jamie Parker sings "If I Had You" with the John Wilson Orchestra

Here's another of the numbers that singer / actor Jamie Parker performed at the "Late Night Sinatra" Prom in London's Royal Albert Hall during the 2015 Proms Season. John Wilson and his Orchestra provided the superb accompaniment and Jamie showed what a wonderful singer he is. Indeed, one critic wrote that his "rich smooth tones were beautifully saturated with colour ... the audience were mesmerised."
NOTE: The entire concert has been released on a 'Warner Classics' DVD, so this is a very tempting 'sampler' indeed! ... Warner Classics (Catalogue No.2564602844).
PS: Jamie first achieved fame in the play and film of Alan Bennett's "The History Boys." More recently, he has appeared on the London stage as Harry Potter in "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child."

What a wonderful wonderful song, just stunning! And Jamie's singing and the John Wilson Orchestra are just perfect. Thank you for putting this on RU-vid, Adam. As you say below, the other songs sung by Jamie in this concert are just superb. I was absolutely knocked out by Jamie's singing when I first heard him back in 2015.

Yes, Jamie is a wonderful singer and from that same programme, I've uploaded him singing these songs: "I Won't Dance"; "Cheek to Cheek"; "From This Moment On" and the "Guys and Dolls" duet with Seth MacFarlane. They're all great, so check them out!

The guy's certainly making a weird noise but I wouldn't have said it was booing exactly. It sounded like he was just getting carried away by the occasion!
