I used to play in death metal and black metal bands, then I got into drum and bass and electronic, and I love this band too. Don't label yourself my dude, music is food for you, eat as much as you can fill!
@@alichamas63 i started on nu metal, went to indie rock, then to folk, then to hardstyle. around the folk era i started not giving a f about genres and just listened to what interested me. i sit here as a 20 year old music production student hoping to hear about the music making process bcs jamiroquai interests me and all he can talk about is cars. yeah music is a funny but brilliant little thing in this world. i think we'd all be a bit f'ed without it tbh.
Me too, I heard romurs about what happen to it, what if it was crash after filming or doing but after watching this interview now I know...what a shame I bet he could have kept the car after they got done with the video.
I was lucky enough to request and receive a personally signed autographed picture from the man himself! Just amazing! The "Runaway" video is so so good to this day! My absolute fave!
A total professional and unique sound. The music never gets old and he's looked great from one decade to the next. Comfortable in his own skin. That's the impression anyway!

the 90s was such a melting point for music ,,,,all styles crossing over ,i was never a big fan of jamiroquai ,but i like originality ,and the 90s aint the 90s with out these videos ,damn mtv use to play them non stop ,,,great time

I accompanied one of his roadies on a trip to Leiden, Amsterdam, and Nordwijk, he had come from London to see his Brother but he was working a 12 hr shift in a Herring factory He asked for the Jamiriqui Album to be played in the first cafe we went in as I hadn't heard it before, luckily they put it on their sound system everyone loved it,we then headed to Amsterdam and managed to get lost in the red light district then went to a plush cafe chatted to some stunning women and came back stoned ,don't remember his name but he said he got the roadie job as he was school friends, his brother went out with a German girl in the house where I lived.Great days.

I always thought it looked a little windy in the cockpit. Especially when you consider that the SE30 has tiny little windows that would not allow much of a breeze. 😎 Love it though!

...I am grateful for the digital age & RU-vid...many years have passed & those days and being in the US it was a lot harder to find these things like interviews bonus tracks merch all of it... It was possible though
i remember saying my dad looks a bit like the jamiroquai when my dad showed me the space cowboy music video, he really does look like you when he wears a hat like that
